教材分析
Unit5 Let’s eat C. Story time 描述的小主人公 Zoom到餐馆就餐的故事,她先后点了鱼和米饭、可乐和冰激凌,可是当他准备吃鱼时,却吃惊的发现自己的鱼盘子里只剩下了鱼骨头,自己的鱼被一只淘气的黑猫吃掉了。主人公Zoom在点餐的过程中,不断重复使用本单元的核心句型“-Can I have some …,please – I’d like some …”,故事内容幽默诙谐,不仅为学生带来乐趣,更重要的是为学生提供一个相对真实、完整的语言情景,让学生在轻松、快乐的故事中接触、体验、理解语言知识,并在真实的语境中巩固复习和拓展本单元所学核心内容。 学情分析
基础教育阶段英语课程的任务是:激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣,使学生树立自信心,养成良好的学习习惯和形成有效的学习策略,发展自主学习的能力和合作精神;使学生掌握一定的英语基础知识和听、说、读、写技能,形成一定的综合语言运用能力;培养学生的观察、记忆、思维、想象能力和创新精神;帮助学生了解世界和中西方文化的差异,拓展视野,培养爱国主义精神,形成健康的人生观,为他们的终身学习和发展打下良好的基础。三年级学生性格活泼、开朗,对新事物充满了好奇心,并具备了一定的观察能力,求知欲强,但是独立思考及解决问的能力较差,喜欢表现自己,乐意参与课堂活动,但是又缺乏自制力。他们刚刚接触到英语,对英语充满了好奇心,敢于大胆用英语表达自己。
理念与方法
三年级孩子活泼、好动,喜欢做游戏,而且事物的注意力不能保持持久,因此我在设计本节课时,主要是游戏为主,课程设置紧紧围绕教学目标,层层递进,环环相扣,利用信息技术的整合,巧妙的将单词和句型的使用融入到转盘游戏中,学生在猜测的过程中,不断的重复和大量的使用核心句型,学生在玩中体验、感知并使用了语言,在拓展环表演环节中,让学生在真实的情景中使用语言,体验了成功的喜悦和自豪,进而对英语学习充满了无限了乐趣。
一、Aim of teaching :
(1) Ss enable to listen、say、read and understand the story ,then act it out.
(2) Ss enable to sing the song: Let’s have a picnic today.
(3) Ss enable to communicate with each other about food and develop a good eating habit.
二、Teaching key/difficult points
(1) Ss enable to grasp the main words: Coke , ice cream.
(2) Ss enable to grasp and apply the sentences into actual use: Can I have some …, please Here you are.

1) Warm – up
a. Greetings;
b. Listen and sing the song: Let’s have a picnic today.
2)Reviews
T: Today it’s very sunny. Let’s have a picnic today , ok Then T shows a basket and asks: Look and guess, what’s in it Review the food words.
3) Presentation
Step1: Teach the words : ice cream , Coke After Ss guessing the food words learned before ,T shows a picture of Coke and asks: Look, what’s this Teach the word: Coke.
T: Do you like Coke
Ss: Yes. / No.
T:Me , too. I like …,too.
T pretends to eat an ice cream and lets Ss guess , then teach the word .
Step2: Lead the sentences: I’d like some …
T: I’d like some apples , milk , bananas , bread for picnic. What would you like
Invite Ss to answer: I’d like some …,please.
Step3: Can I have some …,please
T: Now I want to buy some food.(Ss act the shop assistant)Can I have some …,please Ss: Practice the dialogue several times.
Step 4: Lead the story
T: Now we are full ,but our friends Zoom and Zip are hungry. What would they like
Listen to the tape and answer the food Zoom would like.
S1: Some fish.
S2:Some … Then listen to the tape and read after it.
Step 5 :
Practice the story and act it out.
Step 6 :
Emotional Education T:Look at the children .They have no food, no water, no home. They are so thin. Lead the topic: Cherish and share the food and water.
Ask the children to use “ Can I have some rice / fish / Coke and ice cream ,please ” to ask the teacher for permission. Then the teacher gives the affirmative answer. And gives the object to the students, then asks one of the students to ask “ Can I have some .., please ” “ Sure , here you are
1)Pair work ( Give a modal of practicing asking and answering with a kid )
2) Get the class to practice
Step 7
1.Turnable game.
By playing the t game ,lead in the negative answer to the key structure “ Can I have some … ,please Sorry, you can’t.”
2. Pretend to be thirsty and hungry
Guide the kids to the kitchen to open the fridge .
Ask the kids to use the key structures again.
五、Homework
1.Have a real picnic with your family or friends.
2.Surf the internet to know more information about table culture in Western countries.(选作)
