Unit 6 Go with Transportation
Lesson 32：Trains Go Faster
一、 设计思路
本单元围绕“交通工具”这一话题展开教学。让学生了解交通工具的历史，积极探索未来，设计出自己的未来交通工具。同时，也向学生灌输一定的环保知识，了解不同形式的燃料对空气的影响。本单元的一些话题比较枯燥，需要教师在设计的时候考虑如何做到把内容贴近学生的实际认知水平。对于未来交通工具的设计又能很好的激发学生的想象力和创造性，从而为他们提供英语学习的动力,使学生树立自信心,掌握一定的语言综合运用能力,倡导体验、实践、参与、合作与交流的学习模式，培养学生语言运用能力。
学情分析:
初二学生已经具备了一定的英语学习能力，在词汇量方面也有了不小的增长，阅读能力也随之加强。但对于本课来说，生单词较多，需要在教学过程中让学生不断的感知、内化，最后能做到较好的输出。
二 教学目标
1）知识与能力：掌握重点短语和表达，能够基本描述本课中火车发展的历史。
2）方法与途径：通过多媒体技术的帮助和任务型教学法、情境教学法的运用理解文章内容，了解和复述火车发展的历史，突破重难点，最终能够阅读题材类似的文章。
3）情感与评价：通过本课学习，提升他们的学习积极性和自信心，让学生了解事物发展和变化的主要力量是知识与科技，鼓励他们努力学习，用自己的力量去发明新事物。通过多媒体的图文展示让学生进行观察、比较、理解，交流、展示，进行师生互动、生生互动，通过各种教学活动给予学生更多的机会进行操练活动。通过设计合理的任务型教学评价，培养学生的合作精神和创新意识，让学生获得体验成功的乐趣。
3.教学重难点
1）教学重点：学习了解谈论火车的发展历史。
2）教学难点：通过学习，学生能够利用所学完成对同类题材文章的信息提取。

五、教学反思 。
本节课主要内容关于火车的发展历史。我从运用“语块教学法”提升学生阅读能力的角度设计本课。首先语块输入，然后巩固内化语块，最后阅读输出语块。整个课堂比较流畅，和学生的互动做的比较到位。个别教学活动的难度要降低，利用“语块教学法”讲授阅读课，是我的一个尝试，希望通过这次的实践课堂，能够让自己得到灵感，去不断实践，不断丰富我的阅读教学。
