Analysis of teaching material:
This is a listening and speaking lesson. The lesson focuses on talking about a new type of transportation. The topic of this unit can enrich the students’ imagination and improve the ability of speaking. Try to ask the students to draw and describe their inventions. Furthermore, make students learn meaningfully and help them build the confidence of learning English.
Analysis of students:
The objects of this lesson are students in Grade 8 who has already learned how to talk about topics with others. However, some students have no confidence of English learning. Therefore, it requires teachers to set up the tasks which are interesting, fun and relaxing.

1.Knowledge aim: Learn to use important words and phrases: invention, probably, stay up late....
2.Ability aim: Imagine a new type of transportation and describe it.
3.Emotion aim: Improve the ability of listening and speaking as well as develop their creativity.
