三、学习者分析本课面向的是五年级的学生,他们已有了英语学习的经历,愿意开口表达自我。同时这一年龄段的的孩子喜欢进行新任务的挑战,同时对英语学习中的西方文化及生活中的所见所闻有了更多的思考。在课上需要教师采用有趣的方式,多样的情境促进学生更好的听说练,已达到本课的教学目标。在课上,将带领学生走进加拿大,在完成任务的过程中、在情景交流中学习并运用语言,通过集体、小组、个人活动方式,提高学生的语言应用能力。

Step I. Warm up 1.Show a map of the world. 2.Ask a question:What are English speaking countries 3.Show the map of Canada and ask Ss to talk about Canada. Ss watch the map.2.Ss answer3.Ss talk about Canada. 运用地图激趣,让学生先表达自己已有知识。
Step II. Presentation and practice 1. Play a video about Canada.2. Show the pictures of Niagara Falls,CN Tower and send little pictures of these places to students as prizes.3. Lead Ss to finish Task 1:Listen and find the key words. 4. Play the video of dialog again,ask Ss listen and repeat(Task 2).5.
