Lesson 5 In the Living Room
学情分析
六年级学生处于小学的高年级阶段,已经具有一定的英语语言知识和语言技能的基础,他们探索知识的欲望很强烈,并且有很强的表现欲。所以在设计课堂活动时,我就在教学过程中采用情景教学法,让学生积极主动的参与到课堂中,提高学生的实际运用语言能力。
教学目标
1.语言知识与语言技能:
能听懂、会说、认读、会写新词汇:me, her, him, us, them,并在情境中对其加以运用。
能在情境中理解并应用现在进行时态,并理解这一时态的表意功能。
能就正在发生的事情进行简单的交流和描述。
2. 学习策略:
从学生的生活和兴趣出发,以学生为主体,以训练为主线,以培养能力为宗旨,使学生通过自主、合作、探究等方式进行学习,尊重学生的兴趣和独特感受。通过体验、观察、分析,能够发现、理解、并运用现在进行时态。
3.情感态度:
使学生体验学习、参与、合作的乐趣,树立学生学习英语的信心,培养学生们英语学习的兴趣。
教学重点难点
1、教学重点
(1)掌握单词me, her, him, us, them,并能够灵活运用。
(2)对现在进行时态的理解和运用。
2、教学难点
现在进行时态的熟练运用。
教学过程:
StepⅠ Class opening and review
Greet with the students.
The students watch the videos from their homework on Xuele Cloud. They introduce the rooms in their house.(设计意图:交流分享学乐云创意作业。)
StepⅡ New concepts
Teacher shows a picture of Jenny’s living room on Xuele Cloud.
T: What’s this
Ss:It’s a living room.
T: Yes, so today we are going to learn In the Living room.
First, I will show you two questions.
1. Is Jenny sitting in a chair
2. Who is sitting beside Jenny
Students watch the video for part 1 and then answer.
Danny is sitting beside Jenny. Teacher shows the new word her. Let all the students read and write the new word on the blackboard.
Teacher shows another two questions on Xuele Cloud.
3. Are Mr.and Mrs.Smith sitting on a sofa
4. Who is sitting beside Mr.and Mrs.Smith
Students answer the questions according to the picture. Teacher teaches the new word them and write it on the blackboard. Let the students read.
Then let the students read the two answers.
Teacher shows a new question.
5. Is Bob sitting on the floor
Ss: No.
6. Who is sitting beside Bob
Students answer it according to the picture.
Lynn is sitting beside Bob.
Teacher shows the new word him on Xuele Cloud. And tell the class we can use him instead of Bob. Let the students read the two answers. And then read him. Write it on the blackboard.
T:Can you find other words like this
Ss: Me./You./Us./It. Teacher writes these words on the blackboard and let the students read all the words.(设计意图:通过老师讲授代词的宾格单词,激发学生积极思维,回忆出学过的类似词语,使其体验成功。)
StepⅢ Practice
1.T:Open your books and let’s do an exercise. I need six students to come to the front and finish on Xuele Cloud. Others will finish it in your books.
Check the answers together. (设计意图:利用学乐云平台实现生生互动,师生互动,直观互动。)
2.Then practice another exercise on paper. Let six students come to the front and pull the words in the blanks on Xuele Cloud.
Check the answers together. (设计意图:利用学乐云平台教学实现生生互动,师生互动,直观互动。)
StepⅣ Read the text.
Students read the text following the recorder. (设计意图:利用学乐云教学平台里的声音资源,让学生逐句跟读,模仿原汁原味的课文读音,培养学生的语感。)
StepⅤ Drill
1.Teacher shows some pictures and sentence structure on Xuele Cloud. Let the students practice the the present continuous tense with the new words in Lesson 5.
Look at _____. What is/are ______doing
______is/are ______ing.
Two students practice in pairs and then they will come to the front and choose their favourite picture to practice.(设计意图:利用学乐云教学平台的海量图片资源,结合本课重点句型,让学生自主练习,形象直观。)
2.T:Can you ask a question and then answer it by yourself
Teacher shows the text in Lesson5. Let the students write down the question and answer on task card paper. Teacher take pictures for some of the answers and then upload to Xuele Cloud. Let all the students check together.(设计意图:利用学乐云教学平台自身的课堂反馈功能,将学生的练习直观反馈出来,可以现场纠错,及时分享。)
StepⅥ Make a new song according to Lesson5.(设计意图:自编歌曲再次将重点句型呈现,并对难点现在进行时态加以练习。)
