教学目标
1、知识与技能:
(1)能够朗读理解Read and write 部分的对话并完成相关练习。
(2)能自主归纳知识点并结合具体情境完成应用任务。
2、过程与方法:
(1)通过生动形象的多媒体课件感知课文对话,有助于理解对话的内容并进一步感知重点句型的适用场景。
(2)通过多次合作学习,学生明确自己的分工和学习任务,从而配合协作,完成语言交际活动。
3、情感态度与价值观:关爱家人,从生日的问候做起。
学情分析
1、学生共性:
本课教授对象为小学五年级学生。他们已初具学习英语的经验,对英语学习有较强的兴趣和求知欲,爱说,爱玩,善于模仿,直观形象记忆能力比较强,我要充分利用学生的这些特点去精心做课堂设计,力争以合理的情景创设和任务设计调动他们的各种感官,引导学生合作交流,自主学习,在听、说、读、写、应用的各个环节中体验语言快乐、收获成功感受。
2、知识结构:
学生在本册书第二单元及本单元Part A中已经学过了十二个月份的单词以及最喜欢的季节,本单元的话题、内容有相关性,所以一定要充分应用这些已有的知识储备,力争做到“温故而知新”。但五年级学生毕竟接触英语的时间只有两年多,语言基础及学习能力都比较有限。所以,教师需要帮助学生做好新旧知识的融会贯通,引导学生以合作学习的方式配合完成教师创设的各项语言练习任务。
重点难点
重点:能够朗读理解Read and write 部分的对话并完成相关练习。
难点:能自主归纳知识点并结合具体情境完成应用任务。
教学过程
Step 1: Warm-up.
1. Greeting and invitation.
2. Show time: favorite seasons.
3. Review the 12 months.
Step2: Presentation.
1.Teacher introuduces own birthday and ask.
T: Everyone has a favorite season, me too. My favorite season is May because my birthday is in May. When is your birthday
2. Organize game 1:Ask and answer in lines.

3. Organize game 2:Find out the lucky boys/girls.

4. Reading:
Know John’s family.
Know your partner’s family.
Show the cartoon flash and exercise 1

Step 3: Practice
1. point to a picture, give an example, then make students use the key sentences in pairs.
2.Teacher shows some questions about the dialogue. Then give the show.

4.Teacher gives show examples. Then divides the class into small groups.
5.Ask the students to read the dialogue in roles.

各活动设计意图:
1.通过“听描述猜季节”的互动活动复习与新授内容紧密相关的季节及月份单词,自然引出本课课题“My birthday”。
2.以介绍自己生日时间的方式自然导入句型,让学生能结合生活情境更好地去理解应用; 游戏竞赛活动增加了句型应用的趣味性。
3.以“寻找幸运星”的趣味游戏方式让学生在轻松愉快的氛围中自然感知应用了重点句型。
4.用“你指我说”活动直接进入该句型的描述应用。
5.带问题观看视频,训练了学生的视听能力及分析判断能力;分角色朗读避免了枯燥的机械重复;在学习完对话后引导学生自主归纳课文中词的意义及用法,训练了学生的推测判断能力和分析应用能力。
6.通过作业的完成来巩固所学,并尝试联系生活学以致用。作业中必做与选做相结合,照顾到不同程度学生的能力锻炼和发展。
