教学目标: (一)知识与技能目标
1.学生能够听懂、会说、认读并书写以下身体部位词汇:body, head, mouth, nose, eye ,ear, arm, leg。
2.学生能够认读、理解并运用以下句子We make a small snowball. I have … for his …..来表述堆雪人的过程,并尝试运用顺序副词first, next, then, finally使表述更具层次性、条理性。
(二)情感目标
学生能够在课堂教学所创设的情境中感受堆雪人所带来的乐趣。通过学习能够边自己制作纸雪人边介绍过程,从中体会冬季带给我们的无限乐趣并体验成长的快乐。
(三)学习策略目标
学生能够在教师的指导下运用阅读策略加深对文本的理解,采用适当的朗读技巧培养语感,并积极参与合作,大胆表述。
3重点难点:
本课重点是能正确运用语句We make a …for his …(身体部位)来表述堆雪人的过程。
难点是学生够正确运用顺序副词first, next, then, finally使表述堆雪人的过程更具层次性、条理性。
教学过程:
1. Pre-reading.
1. Greeting.
T: Good morning, boys and girls.
S: Good morning, Miss Xu.
T: How are you
S: I’m fine, thanks. How are you
T: I’m fine, thank you. Nice to see you.
S: Nice to see you, too.
(设计意图:课前问好,将学生自然的带入到英语的课堂中来。)
2. Review
T: Look! What season is it
S: It’s winter.
T: Yes. Winter is coming. Do you like winter
S: Yes.
T: I like winter, too. In winter, there is …
S: There is snow. Snow is white.
T: I like snow. We can make a snowman. (出示一张雪人的图片)Look! What’s this It’s a snowman. (出示两个雪人)These are snowmen. (出示一个雪球的图片)This is a snowball. Two words make one word, we call it “复合词”。
用手指着雪人的身体部位复习单词body, arm, face, mouth, eyes, ears, feet, leg等。
(设计意图:通过师生对话及图片的帮助,既能顺利的引出本课的内容,吸引学生的注意力,同时也为本课新授奠定基础。)
二. While-reading
1. 略读。
T: Do you like to make a snowman Jenny and Li Ming like to make snowmen, too. What do they do Let’s look. Open your books, turn to page 42. Please read this passage to yourself, find the answers of these questions.
(多媒体出示问题)
1. How many snowballs do Jenny and Li Ming make
2. What do they use for the snowman’s mouth
3. What do they use for his ears
4. Does the snowman have any legs or feet
学生快速的默读课文,找到答案,并在全班交流。教师及时评价.
(设计意图:带着问题去略读课文,通过快速默读课文找到问题答案,培养学生在读的过程中去理解关键信息,获得关键信息的能力,并让学生对本文有个初步的认识。)
2. 再读课文。
T: What do they make
S: They make a snowman.
T: I want to make a snowman, too. How can we make a snowman Read this passage to yourself again, and then put these sentences in order.
(大屏幕出示排序句子)
( )Let’s make a face on the snowman.
( )I have two sticks for his arms. It doesn’t need legs or feet.
( )First, we make a big snowball. It is his body.
( )Can you put this snowball on that snowball
( )Then we make a small snowball for his head.

再次默读课文,对课文有了更进一步的认识后,完成排序。
(设计意图:再次读课文,加深对课文内容的了解并能对本课内容有个大概的认识。)
3. 大声读课文,加深对本课细节内容的理解和掌握。
T: Good job! Can you make a snowman now Please read the passage loudly. Try to talk about it.
学生出声读书,后共同探讨堆雪人的步骤并板书。
First,…make a big snowball.
Next, …make a small snowball.
Then, …put this snowball on that snowball.
Finally, … make a face on the snowman.
… have …for…(短语领读)
T: Look! It is our snowman. I think it’s wonderful. He wants to say hello to us. Look! Can you help him
(多媒体出示填空题)

(设计意图:再次出声读课文,并与老师一起探讨堆雪人的程序,为之后学生的语言输出,能够独立复述堆雪人的过程奠定基础。填空题的出示则能够更加细化堆雪人的细节,加深印象。)
4. Listen to the tape. Read after it.
(设计意图:跟读,学习语音语调。纠正学生的发音并培养学生的英语语感。)
三.Post-reading
1.T: Let’s make a snowman together. (在板书的帮助下复述堆雪人的过程)。Can you make a snow man Talk about it to your partner.
(设计意图:同伴之间共同交流堆雪人的过程。巩固知识,互相帮助。)
请1-2名同学到前面来展示。
(设计意图:展示复述课文,给学生提供表现自我的平台,增强学生的自信心及语言表达的欲望。同时也是课堂学习的反馈。)
3. We all like to make snowmen. But there is no snow. So, let’s make a sock snowman. OK
出示课本43页2.Look and number.
( )Next we make two balls of paper. One is small and the other is big.
( )Then we put the small ball and the big ball in the sock.
( )Let’s make a sock snowman. First we need a white sock, some paper and crayons.

拿出自己的材料一起做袜子雪人。边做袜子雪人边听课后歌曲.后展示。

(设计意图:学以致用,再一次巩固堆雪人的过程,在英文歌曲的伴随下同时动手制作雪人.并在这个过程中的过程中体会到学习的快乐。)
