本课的生词和句型并不复杂，教学内容相对简单，所以本课的教学内容可以向课外拓展一些，培养学生的发散思维，适当拓宽教学内容的广度和深度。

And in this CD-ROM, there is a very lovely animal. Let’s have a look.

Why are the pandas are very fat Because they eat bamboo for twelve hours a day. And after eating , they go to bed and sleep. So they are very fat and very cute. Do you love the pandas

And there is another animal in this CD-ROM. They are very long and they are very scary. They are s-s-s-s-snakes. I hear that they can dance. Do you believe that Let’s have a look.
There are two snakes in this video. They are not dancing, because they are deaf, they can’t hear the music. The snake is copying another one.

I think this CD-ROM is very interesting. And I give this CD-ROM to Daming. He loves it, too. Now, he is looking at this CD-ROM with his grandma. OK, let’s come to our new text and listen to their dialogue.

IV Extension
In this class, we have learnt some new words，some verbs, and some important sentences. At last, let’s watch a CD-ROM about these lovely animals.
We live in the world with many animals and other lives. And all of these lives have their right to live on. Many times, we watch the birds flying in the sky, we watch the fish swimming in the water, we are really happy, because they are very beautiful, very lovely.
But do you know that , there are more and more endangered animals at present, many animals in the world is not only small, but some animals are very rare, and even some of them have become extinct.
We can see the number of animal species decrease faster and faster and this trend will continue. From 1980 to 2010, at least 1 million animal species have disappeared. Worse still , more and more wild animals are in great danger.
Unfortunately , we may not see these animals in the future.
It’s wrong for people to hurt animals for their meat and feather, for they are our human friends. We should protect them instead of killing them. We believe that No buying , no killing. Let’s start now, from what I starting to protect animals , to make the world a better bar! Let’s make our warm home together!
