教学内容:湖南少年儿童出版社 六年级上册 Unit7 What can I do (Part A- Part B)
学情分析:学生此前掌握了一些动词和动词短语(例如play,play chess,tell a story等),能够为本节课话题的展开进行词汇的提取。六年级学生热情、善良,乐于表达。帮助他人这个话题在日常生活中使用频率较高,交际需要和学生知识储备不够之间的矛盾,能更好的激发学生的学习兴趣。
教学目标:知识目标:(1)词汇:学生能听懂、认读、会说新词汇:weak, slow, an old woman, help old people on the road, make tea, make cakes, clean their houses(homes), make them happy(2)句型:学生能用句型“What can you/ I do ” “I/You can…”来谈论能为老人做的事。能力目标:通过对比,发现字母及字母组合发音规律,从而自然拼读新单词。能运用“What can you/ I do ” “I/ You can…”与人交流并表达自己力所能及的事情;(三)情感目标:通过表达、交流来培养学生关爱老人,助人为乐的优良品格,并愿意主动为他人做自己力所能及的事情。
教学重点、难点:1.教学重点:学生能听懂、认读、会说新词汇 an old woman, help old people on the road, make tea, make cakes, clean their houses (homes), make them happy,并能熟练运用句型“What can you/ I do ” “I can…”来表达和交流并谈论帮助老人所做的事情。2.教学难点:(1)能理解和表达句型“I can help…to do…”(2)能正确读出单词them的发音;(3)学生能在真实情境中用自己的话谈论能为老人做哪些事情。教学准备:单词卡片,多媒体课件。
教学过程:Step 1 Warm-up 1.Greetings.2.Lead-in : Today, I want to introduce my family to you. Step 2 Presentation New words and sentences.①PPT shows a photo. T: This is my grandmother.Guess “How old is she ”Yes,she is eighty years old.Is she young or old Ss: She is old.T: So we can say: She is an old woman.教学“an old woman”②.PPT shows a photo of grandfather.同法教学“an old man”③.PPT shows a photo of grandmother and grandfather. She is an old woman. He is an old man.They are old people.教学“an old people”④T: Are they strong Ss: No, they are not strong. T: They are not strong.They are weak. 出示单词卡weak,请生根据拼读规律拼读单词。⑤T: Can they walk quickly?(师用肢体语言帮助学生理解) Ss: No. T: They are slow.出示单词卡“snow”。T:Do you know this word Ss: Yes!... 出示单词卡“slow”。请生拼读。⑥. Lead-in the topic “ What can I do ”T: Yes,they are old. They are weak and slow. So they need our help. What can I do ⑦PPT shows a picture.T: Wow,so many car. An old people want to cross the road. What can we do 出示短语卡片“help old people on the road ”运用句型“I can...”说一说。⑧同法教学其他短语。Step 3: Practice1.Pair discussion T: Alright everyone. Now work in pairs, ask your partner “ What can you do to help your grandparents ” like the following conversation.T gives a model at first and shows dialogue on the PPT. Let’s make the society full of love!板书设计: Unit 7 What can I do What can I do I can help old people on the road. clean their houses. clean their homes. make tea. make cakes. make them happy. ... 设计意图:1.学生对老师的家庭充满好奇,用家人的照片能拉近与学生的距离,激发学生学习兴趣。2、调动学生已有知识储备,让学生通过区别young和old,从而引出an old woman,轻松且自然。3、学生根据已学单词tea,read中字母组合ea的发音规律,自然拼读weak。4、授之于鱼,不如授之于渔。从已学单词引申到新单词,让学生学会在对比中记忆单词。设计意图:在此环节让学生们两两对话,也让同学们操练What can you do 来询问别人能做的事,并借此想想自己能够做的事情, 在同学们发散思路的同时,适时将新词引出,做到上不封顶,下要保底.6.设计意图:最后的情感升华部分,通过短片描述,让学生们了解最好的爱是陪伴,同时呼吁同学们时刻牢记,做出实际行动来,帮助别人,快乐自己,一起构建一个充满爱的社会
