Beijing Opera
Beijing Opera is our national opera. It has a history of about 200 years. There are four main roles in Beijing Opera: Sheng, Dan, Jing and Chou.
Its music and singing come from Xipi and Erhuang in Anhui and Hubei. It is full of famous stories, beautiful paintings wonderful gestures and fights. It is an important part of Chinese culture.
Beijing Opera used to be popular with old people, and young people didn't like it much. However, more and more young people, even some foreigners, are becoming interested in it now.

"Let's go wrestling, Dad!" was once one of the Top 10 movies. It tells a true story about an Indian man and his two daughters. His name's Mahavir.
