本节课是一年级起点六年级上册 Module 7 Unit 1的一节新授课。本课的话题是动物,主要内容是大明通过观看DVD 了解熊猫和蛇两种动物的习性。通过本课的学习,学生能够了解熊猫和蛇的生活习性,并能够运用学到的语言知识为动物做简短的介绍。
二、学生分析
六年级的学生处于小学阶段的高段,他们有一定的语言基础,能够阅读简短的篇章,能够根据图片、词语或例句的提示写出简短的描述。学生了解一些动物的习性并乐于参与小组活动,喜欢团队合作和竞赛的形式进行学习。

掌握四会单词gave和its;掌握三会单词bamboo,almost,deaf,frightened.掌握目标语句Pandas love bamboo. They eat for twelve hours a day. Do snakes love music No, they don’t. They are almost deaf. 会用简单的动词描述动物的习性。
过程与方法目标:
通过学习课文语句能够描述熊猫和蛇的习性,通过使用思维导图简单复述课文;通过阅读简短的篇章并结合已有的知识辨识不同的动物;在小组合作互助的形式下,描述一种动物的习性。

能够热爱动物,提高环保意识。大胆说英语;乐于参加小组活动。
四、教学重难点
1 教学重点:词汇:gave,its, bamboo,almost,deaf,frightened.句子: Pandas love bamboo. They eat for twelve hours a day. Do snakes love music No, they don’t. They are almost deaf.
2. 教学难点:It says the snake thinks the flute is dangerous, so it gets frightened. 正确使用合适的词语描述动物习性。
