1、 教材分析
本节课是一年级起点六年级上册 Module 7 Unit 1的一节新授课。本课的话题是动物，主要内容是大明通过观看DVD 了解熊猫和蛇两种动物的习性。通过本课的学习，学生能够了解熊猫和蛇的生活习性，并能够运用学到的语言知识为动物做简短的介绍。
二、学生分析
六年级的学生处于小学阶段的高段，他们有一定的语言基础，能够阅读简短的篇章，能够根据图片、词语或例句的提示写出简短的描述。学生了解一些动物的习性并乐于参与小组活动，喜欢团队合作和竞赛的形式进行学习。

掌握四会单词gave和its;掌握三会单词bamboo,almost,deaf,frightened.掌握目标语句Pandas love bamboo. They eat for twelve hours a day. Do snakes love music No, they don’t. They are almost deaf. 会用简单的动词描述动物的习性。
