Chinese people have celebrated the Spring Festival which is the most important festival for centuries. It is celebrated in January or February. People celebrated this festival to welcome the new year. They will do some cleaning in the morning and buy a lot of snacks at home for the coming days. During this festival, people always get together and have a big dinner. What’s more, we will also watch fireworks and set off firecrackers. I often set off them with my friends. That is so interesting. The next day, people will pay a new year’s visit to our relatives or friends. What’s more, children like this festival best, because they will get lucky money from their parents and other relatives. Dumplings are the traditional food of this festival. And they are my favorite. I always remember the dumplings my mother made for me. They were so delicious that I ate them up every time.
In my opinion, the Spring Festival is a time for people to spread love and warmth to each other. It brings people closer together.
