Lesson 2 I will put the lights on the tree.教学设计
一、教学目标：
1.能听懂、会说、认读并运用单词和短语: decorate, star, light，stocking , at the end of；
2.能够听懂、会说、认读句型： “what will you do ” “I will put the lights on the tree.”并能在真实语境中运用语句谈论如何装饰圣诞树。
3.能够知道西方国家圣诞节装饰圣诞树、挂圣诞袜的风俗习惯，并初步了解这些习俗的来历及内涵，初步形成理解、尊重、包容不同国家传统习俗的多元文化素养。
二、教学重难点：
（一）教学重点
教学重点：
了解装饰圣诞树的习俗，运用所学单词和句型描述如何装饰圣诞树。
教学难点：
单词decorate和句子I will put the stocking at the end of my bed.的朗读。
三、教学措施：
利用圣诞树及挂饰模型在真实情境中边装饰圣诞树边操练重点句型，加深学生印象；多种方法操练难点词语和句子。
四、教学方法：
小组合作法，示范法，自然拼读法。
五、教学准备：
多媒体课件、圣诞树模型、挂饰、头饰等。
六、教学时间：
1课时。
七、课前及课外学习活动设计：
课下给学生们以小组为单位分发圣诞树上的挂饰（如彩球，树顶灯，卡片，拐杖糖果，彩灯等）以便课堂上装饰自己组的圣诞树。
八、教学过程：
Step 1.Warming up.
1. Greetings.
2. Enjoy a song : We Wish You a Merry Christmas.师生齐唱。
3.看图片复习第一课所学的圣诞节的内容。When is Christmas Day It’s December 25. What do you usually do at Christmas The family get together. They have a big dinner. They sing Christmas songs. The children get presents.
【设计意图】：上课伊始齐唱圣诞歌曲，激发学生学习兴趣的同时为整堂课的话题Christmas营造了氛围。对第一课的复习使学生回顾了西方国家在圣诞节的传统习俗，为本节课的学习做好了铺垫。
Step 2. Presentation
1.教师出示圣诞树模型说：And people have another important thing at Christmas. Let’s enjoy some pictures.出示圣诞树图片，学生欣赏，引出Christmas tree。然后教师拿出自己的圣诞树模型说：I have a Christmas tree. But there is nothing on it. Let’s decorate the Christmas tree.分音节学习新单词decorate，用英语解释为make it beautiful，并分组读、开火车读。
【设计意图】：逼真的圣诞树模型使学生直观地了解本课的谈论对象，美轮美奂的圣诞树图片既可以使学生获得美的享受，又可以为下文学习decorate the Christmas tree做好准备，学生很容易理解单词含义，也有了学习本课内容的欲望。
2.老师接着说：Do you know how to decorate the Christmas tree？讲解圣诞树的装饰方法，用模型挂饰以旧带新学习star， ball， light并板书。然后播放课文动画，出示课文中人物和他们所挂挂饰的选择题，学生看动画完成。教师领读句子，板书句子。多次朗读，同桌检查，矫正发音。
【设计意图】：简单的选择题让学生有目的、有重点地初步感知课文，并抓出了重点句型。利用圣诞树的挂饰模型来学习新单词，直观形象有趣味，提高了课堂效率。
3.出示圣诞袜，学习stocking，询问学生李明他们要把圣诞袜挂在哪里，第二次播放动画，学生找出答案，学习I will put the stocking at the end of the bed. 用send引出新单词end。向学生解释为什么Jenny要把圣诞袜挂在床头。
【设计意图】：关于圣诞袜的知识渗透能够增进学生的国际理解，开阔学生的眼界。
Step 3. Practice.
1.跟读课文，然后学生小组练读课文，戴头饰分角色朗读。
2.Sing a song:
Let’s decorate the Christmas tree.
What will you do What will you do
I will put the star on the tree.
I will put the lights on the tree.
I will put the balls on the tree.
I will put the presents here.
【设计意图】：老歌新唱既能够活跃课堂气氛，巩固核心句型，又适应不同认知特点的学生需求。
Step 4. Production.
1.教师拿出其他类型的挂饰如铃铛，雪花，鼓，卡片等，与学生一起温习挂饰名称，然后让学生用前面所得到的挂饰装饰自己组的圣诞树，要求学生轮流挂挂饰，挂时要同时说出句子。最后请几个同学到台前边说句子边装饰老师的圣诞树。

C:I will put the … on the tree.
【设计意图】：小组装饰自己组的圣诞树，学生在动手中谈论话题，增强了课堂的趣味性，培养了学生的合作能力、动手能力；最后的展示提升了学生的语言综合运用能力，鼓励学生用英语说出更多的句子来。
2.教师问学生：Do you know why people have Christmas trees at Christmas There’s a story about it.观看沙画视频截图了解圣诞树的由来。
【设计意图】：英文图文故事阅读丰富了学生的文化体验，引导学生由文化表象认识文化现象形成的原因，提高了学生的多元文化素养。
3.教师向学生介绍:Nowadays there are many special Christmas trees in the world. Let’s enjoy some pictures.让学生欣赏一些创意圣诞树图片。
【设计意图】：创意圣诞树的图片丰富了学生的文化视野，增进了学生的国际理解，为课后作业的完成拓宽了思路。
Step 5.Summary.
1.向学生推荐一些关于圣诞节和圣诞树的英文绘本故事。
2.总结：本节课你学到了什么？
【设计意图】：原版读物的推荐有助于提高学生的英文阅读能力，启发学生认识世界的多样性和文化的多元性，初步形成文化比较意识。
