Unit 6 Christmas Lesson 4 Again, please!教学设计
一、教材分析:
本单元的功能是:谈论圣诞节。本课的知识目标:知识目标:学生能够运用What did they do at Christmas What presents did they get They got……句型谈论有关圣诞节的事情;能力目标:学生能够谈论自己及他人在圣诞节的活动安排;情感目标:让学生了解西方国家如何过圣诞,及更多风土人情。同时,在教学中渗透情感态度与价值观的教育。
二、学情分析:
1、在教学思路和设计上,基于学生的认知和学习基础,根据学生已有的语言水平,设置相应的教学步骤。本单元的主题是“Christmas”,比较贴近学生的生活实际——基于学生已有的生活经验考虑,本课时学习之前,通过各种各样的媒体方式,学生对这个节日已经有了或多或少的认识;在课文中,学生会从过节的风俗习惯方面感受东西方文化的共同点与不同点,开阔眼界。这样,在真实语言情境中体味英语,运用英语就水到渠成了。
2、在教学活动的设计中,应注重用生动活泼、形式多样的活动吸引孩子们的注意,教师应尽可能多的创造良好的语言环境,给学生充足的语言习得机会,让学生大胆实践,积极参与,力争让学生在交际中学习英语、感悟英语,在游戏中体验英语、认识英语。
三、教学目标
(一)知识目标
学生能够运用What did they do at Christmas What presents did they get They got……等句型谈论有关圣诞节的事情。
(二)能力目标
学生能够谈论自己及他人在圣诞节的活动安排。
(三)情感目标
让学生了解西方国家如何过圣诞,及更多风土人情。同时,在教学中渗透情感态度与价值观的教育。
四、教学重、难点
重点:在情景中,能够综合、灵活地运用学过的语言知识;总结字母th、ou的发音。
难点:正确运用语言知识交流并做练习。
五、教具准备
单词卡片、课件、照片、实物投影。
六、教学过程
Step 1 Warm up:
1 Greetings:
sing a song 《We wish you a merry Christmas》.
(设计意图:这首学生们耳熟能详的歌曲,为学生营造英语学习氛围,激活学生的英语思维,同时也为学习新知识埋下伏笔。)
2 Free talk:
T: Christmas is an important festival in western countries. When is Christmas Day What do people do at Christmas Do the children get presents Do they put the stocking on the tree
学生回答关于圣诞节的问题,复习前三课所学内容。
(设计意图:通过自由交谈,开启学生们已有的知识储备,为下面的学习奠定基础)
Step 2 Practice:
1.Lucy’s Christmas:
1)T: Li Ming, Jenny and Danny had a wonderful Christmas. They got a Christmas card from Lucy. How was Lucy’s Christmas?She sent some photos to Li Ming. This class we’ll learn about Lucy’s Christmas together.
T: Watch the video,answer: What did Lucy do at Christmas
(设计意图:以本单元前三课的内容中李明、Jenny 和Danny 收到Lucy的圣诞贺卡,根据第四课第一部分的听力内容,兼顾前三课的圣诞活动,创编Lucy的圣诞活动,做成视频。观看视频,思考:What did Lucy do at Christmas )
2) T: Have you got it Now open your books. Turn to Page 70.Let’s listen and circle.
Q1: What did you do at Christmas, Lucy We had a big dinner.
Q2: What did you make I made Christmas cards for my friends.
Q3: What present did you get I got a kite.
Q4: What did you eat I ate some cakes.
(设计意图:听本课听力,并操练。将重点内容板书。)
3)T:Lucy is talking about her Christmas. If you were Lucy, show your Christmas to others. Work in groups. One is Lucy. The others are Lucy’s friends. Start, please.
(设计意图:小组活动进行对话,Lucy展示自己的圣诞活动。)
2. Li Ming’s Christmas:
1) T: Lucy’s Christmas was wonderful. She made a Christmas card for Li Ming. Li Ming wants to write an email to Lucy. Please take out your paper. Try to help Li Ming to write the email, OK
2) Show the email.
3) T: Watch the pictures of Li Ming’s Christmas. Read the sentences together.
(设计意图:通过李明给Lucy的电子邮件,回顾李明的圣诞节,练习填空并朗读李明的圣诞节活动。)
3.Linda’s Christmas:
1)T: Li Ming’s Christmas was happy. Here’s another little girl, Linda. How was her Christmas?Where did she go Who did she invite to her home Watch the video, then answer.
Q1: Where did Linda and her family go on Christmas Eve(在圣诞前夜)
A. The church(教堂).
B. Her grandparents’ house.
Q2: Who did Linda invite(邀请) to her home on Christmas Day
A. Mr White.
B. Mr White and his only son(他唯一的儿子).
2)Watch the video, then answer the questions.
(设计意图:通过对本单元Try yourself中的课文:Linda’s Christmas的学习,回答跟课文有关的两个问题。了解不同国家的不同圣诞习俗,并渗透情感教育。)
4. T:Linda,Lucy and Li Ming had wonderful Christmas. What about other people in western countries What do they usually do at Christmas Listen and match.
1) T: Read by yourselves. Then match.
2) Get one student to match the pictures.
(设计意图:本活动是对圣诞节介绍的第四个小故事,介绍西方国家过圣诞节的活动习俗,并通过四个问题加深对本环节的理解。)
Step 3 Production:
1.T: Different countries , different culture. Christmas is coming. We’ll have a Christmas party in our school. Do you want to be a reporter to introduce Christmas to others Let’s have a try, OK
1). Work in groups. One is the little reporter and the others can ask questions.
2). Show at the front.
(设计意图:本环节设计了一个活动:争做小讲解员来介绍圣诞节,利用图片和视频介绍圣诞节的习俗,并请同学们提问问题讲解员来解答。)
2.T: Take out your test paper. Listen number and repeat.
(设计意图:学习本课的活动2 Listen and repeat.将每组的四个单词打乱顺序,听音排列顺序,并试读出更多同样发音的单词。)
