【教学目标】

3.能用英语简单地讨论生日场景。
4.帮助学生感知母爱的伟大,让学生体会被爱包容的幸福与快乐

【教具准备】多媒体、实物和各种贴画奖品。
【教学过程】
Step 1: Warm-up
1. The students enjoy a happy song together.
2. The teacher introduces Lily’s birthday.
3. Free talk:
T: When is your birthday
Ss: My birthday is in…….
T: What did you do on your birthday /Do you have a birthday party
Ss: I had……..
Step 2: Lead-in
1. The teacher shows five pictures one by one and introduces the main meanings of each picture. The students try to ask some questions about the pictures.
2. Watch and match.
3. Play a guessing : The teacher hides some parts of present and birthday cake, and students guess what they are.
4. T: Through these three pictures, do you know what the girl did yesterday (The teacher sticks the title to the blackboard)
Step 3: Presentation
1. Watch and read paragraph one together.
2. The teacher introduces the background of this lesson and teaches picture one.
3. Students enjoy a video about different parties in western countries.

5. The students watch the picture two and choose whether the girl is happy or sad.
6. Students learn the language points of picture 2 and listen and repeat it. Then, the students try to act it out on the platform.
7. The students watch the picture three and four and choose whether the girl is happy or sad. The students circle the new words and try to guess the meaning. Then, the students try to act it out on the platform.
8. The students watch the picture five and talk about what they can see in the picture. Then, the students try to act it out on the platform.
Step 4: Practice
1. Listen and repeat the whole passage.
2. Read in pairs and try to retell the passage.
3. The students retell the passage.
Step 5: Consolidation
1. Read the passage silently and circle the right answer.
2. Enjoy a video about mother’s love.
3. The students write some words that they want to say to there mothers on the cards.
Step 6: Summary
The students try to sum up what they learned today based on the blackboard design.
