Module 8 Unit 1 When did they come 教学设计
一、教材分析
一般过去时是四年级学习的一个重要语法点,它贯穿了整册教材,本模块的主要内容是使用一般过去时的特殊疑问句询问过去的行为。本单元是第一单元,主要讲述的是Amy 和Ms.Smart在读报的过程中了解到一些英国孩子上周来中国参加音乐比赛,一个吹笛子的女孩还获得了金奖杯。Amy告诉妈妈她也会吹笛子,但是她的演奏实在糟糕,妈妈告诉她还需要多加练习。
二、学情分析
年龄方面:四年级的学生活泼好动,注意不稳定、不持久,难于长时间地注意同一件事物,容易为一些新奇刺激的事物所吸引。所以他们对课件里的动画和声音感兴趣。知识方面:四年级的学生对过去时态的学习已有了一定的基础,能够正确地运用 “Did you … ”等一般疑问句句型来进行问答交流。因此,在本课教学中,我的主要任务就是通过设计符合学生年龄特点和贴近现实情境的活动,让学生结合新知识联系已有知识,大胆的表达,提高综合语言运用能力。
三、教学目标
a. 语言知识目标:
掌握目标语句:When did they come They came last Wednesday. What did she play She played the flute.
单词:when, come, came, competition, win, won, gold, cup, flute, practise
b. 语言技能目标:100%学生能够听懂会说本模块重点句型,80%学生能够灵活运用功能句,询问别人过去发生的事情并能做出正确回答。其余20%的学生能够在同伴的帮助下达成此目标。
c.情感态度目标:积极培养自己的兴趣爱好,能够平衡学习和娱乐;小组合作意识强烈,积极参加比赛,大胆表现自我。
d. 文化意识目标:了解针对学生的主要文娱活动。
e.学习策略:任务驱动,多学少教,小组合作。对所学内容能主动复习和归纳。
四、教学重点
1. 掌握单词:when, come, came, competition, win, won, gold, cup, flute, practise
2. 掌握目标语句:
When did they come They came last Wednesday.
What did she play She played the flute.
五、教学难点
1.在情境中熟练运用一般过去时特殊疑问句谈论过去发生的事情;
2.正确区分what, when 的用法。
六、教学流程
Ⅰ. Warming up and leading in
1. Say a chant of M2U2.
(设计意图:边说韵句边做动作活跃了课堂气氛,营造了和谐、宽松的学习氛围,让学生很快把注意力集中到课堂教学中来,韵句中包含很多动词短语,为完成本课练习做好铺垫。)
2. Chant and find:
⑴ What did the dog do yesterday
⑵ What did he see
(设计意图:带着问题说韵句启发学生思维,也为目标语句的学习做了渗透)
Ⅱ. Task presentation
T: Since I’m new here. I want to know more about you. Did you … last weekend What did you do We are going to find what you and your friends did last weekend.
(设计意图:呈现任务,明确学习目标,带着目的学习本课。)
III. Text Learning
1. T: Some English children came to China last week. (教授单词:came)
A week contains 7 days. When did they come (教授单词when)
T 板书标句,学生在问题语境中学习生词。

设计意图:带着问题,整体感知课文。
3. Look and say

(设计意图:问题紧贴生活,学生感兴趣,也重点操练了when, came)

(设计意图:通过实际例子感知单词,强化生词记忆。)
5. T: In the music competition, this girl won the gold cup. (教授won, win, gold, cup)
T: Children, at the end of our class, we will count how many stickers you get. The group with the most stickers will win the gold cup.
(设计意图:从课本延伸到课堂上的比赛机制,学生感知生词,加深理解。)
6. Ask and answer

(设计意图:情境中学习flute, 问答中操练重点目标语句。)
7. Guessing competition

(设计意图:游戏可以激发学趣,听音乐猜乐器调动多个感官,让学生表演也调动了积极性,参与度大大提高。真实的情境启发学生积极思考,灵活操练目标语句。)

(设计意图:引用学生喜爱的明星做例子,激发了学生开口说的欲望。)

(设计意图:在习题中检测what, when 的掌握情况。)
