I. Warming up.
1. Greet.
2. Introduce the rules of the game.
T: Group 1, Group 2, it’s your dog. Group 3, Group 4, it’s your dog. There is a bone here. If you work hard, you can run fast. Let’s see which dog can catch the bone.

1. Learn some words:
1> Teach“blind” with the courseware.(示课件以及动作导出blind进行教学,火车游戏操练。)
2>Look at the pictures and practise.
(This man is blind. His dog can help him. This woman is blind. Her dog can help her. These people are blind. Their dogs can help them. )
3>Watch the video and teach “show”.(播放开学第一课视频,导出show 教学,火车游戏操练)
4>Teach “presenter” with the picture. (利于开学第一课的主持人:撒贝宁、董卿、何灸导出presenter教学,分节练读、火车游戏操练)

What can the dogs do
The dogs can help firemen find the people. The dogs can help policemen catch the bad man. Dogs are very useful.
2>Play a game, practise to say: This pig can… (指针转圈活动,会说的起立说)
3>Look and practise with “…can/ can’t...” (同桌互练)
4> Ask and answer. (快速看动物们能做或不能做的事情,一人用Can this________ 提问,其余来回答。)
5> Take about the animals’ abilities. (鼓励学生用…can…练说,也可说图以外的动物。先抽个人,再集体看图说。)
6> Look at the pictures and talk about elephants. (同桌互练)

(今天学习了如何描述小动物的能力,现在我们要做一期有关描述动物能力的节目,现在征集节目主持人,评选并录用主持人。四人小组用can 句型介绍喜欢动物的能力。可选择老师的提示图的动物,也可以用其它动物练说。)

III. Summarize.
