Step 1 Presention
Show a picture of Kitty and ask:
Look, who is this girl?
(Oh, she is Kitty )
What about her hair?
(Her hair is long.)
Is she cute
Write “cute” on the blackboard. Use “lovely” to explain the word .
Use the same way to describe Amy.
Look , who is this girl
(She is Amy .)
What about her hair Is it long
(Her hair is short. She has short hair.)
Ask the students to read the profiles on Page 13 and answer the following questions
1. What does Kitty love
2. What is Amy good at
Write “dancing swimming” on the blackboard and ask the students to pay attention to the two words
Step 2 Listening and writing
1、From the profiles, we can know their hair and hobbies. Circle the correct answers in the table according to the profiles.
2、We don’t know their ages and looks, please listen to their conversation and circle the rest of the table
Play the tape
The students listen and circle.
Check the answers.
3、Play the tape again.
The students listen and complete Part A3.
Check the answers.

Step 4 Presentation

Revise “ Good morning! Good afternoon! Good evening! How do you do! Nice to meet you!” and learn “Glad to meet you!”

Step 5 Listen and answer
1、 Millie and her cousin Andy are greeting Kitty at school. Please listen to the tape and answer the question:
