Teaching analysis
Analysis of teaching material The reading material is about the uses of English in giving personal information. From it, the students can learn how to introduce themselves and others. Besides, their reading ability will be trained.
Analysis of students The students are interested in this topic. They have learnt some words and phrases related to the topic before. So the students have got some background knowledge. But their vocabulary is limited, so the teacher should speak slowly.

教学反思:本节课内容较为简单,重点是介绍自己以及朋友的外貌,爱好,擅长什么等。老师通过歌曲活跃课堂气氛,再通过自我介绍导入新课,符合学生新进入一所学校对老师的好奇心。学生对新老师比较感兴趣,所以学生课堂积极性很高。因为是初一学生,基础薄弱,所以课堂上教师语速缓慢,确保学生能听懂。在让学生采访老师的过程中,还应该多让学生模仿去说,以便把句型练熟,把发音练准确。通过教师的自我介绍,学生完全能够理解课文,但是朗读课文还存在发音不标准的问题,课后可以让学生再听读跟读。
