Step 1: Revision
1. Ask students to finish the exercises, then check the answers together.
2. Revise the usages of the simple present tense of the verb to be.
Step 2: Grammar learning
1. Use some pictures to lead the simple present tense of the verb to do.
2. Summing up: When we talk about: things that we often do ,things that are always true, things that are true now, we use the simple present tense.
3. Do exercises to master the usages of the simple present tense of the verb to do.
4. Learn the third person singular of the verbs, then finish the exercises.
5. Finish Part A on P24 and check the answers together.
Step 3: Practice
1.Will you help me change the sentences into questions and answer them
1) I like this e-dog.
Do you like this e-dog Yes, I do. / No, I don’t.
2) Simon works hard at school.

2.Sum up the positive and negative
sentences using the verb to do in the simple present tense.

本课时为语法教学,学生都认为英语语法枯燥、乏味、难记、易忘,这就极大地影响了他们学习英语语法的兴趣,同时更制约着他们英语成绩的提高。本课时我采用了新课标倡导的体验实践、参与合作与交流的学习方式和任务型的教学方法,从根本上弥补了传统语法教学的不足。但对于能力较差的学生,课后还应多做练习加以巩固,以便于能灵活运用本课所学的语法知识。
