一、教学内容
本节课的内容是译林版七年级上册的(Reading A) Welcome to our school!是一节阅读课。在本节课将学习几个关于校园的单词,如playground ,classroom, library, computer room, school hall, classroom building等。学习单词后,通过创设一些活动让学生巩固单词。然后让学生观看本节课的录像,观看视频后,创设一些问题让学生来回答。根据所听内容完成问题还有助于训练学生通过听力提高获取信息的能力。
接下来让学生齐读这篇课文,让学生带着问题去读,有任务的去阅读。之后让学生抢答这些问题;最后创设一个小组活动,让每个小组成员合作,讨论介绍我们的学校;让每组派一名学生做汇报。通过真实的语言交际让学生感悟本单元的功能项目。
二、设计理念
本节课是通过学习一些新单词,还有句型There is/are...in our school. Our school looks... The playground is...这些单词和句型都是为阅读做准备的,所以在阅读之前我会先输入单词和句型。这有助于学生理解文章。。
3、 教学目标
1.知识目标:1)了解Miller学校的具体情况。2)学会用英语介绍自己的学校。
2.能力目标:让学生通过Group work活动掌握用英文介绍我们学校的能力。
3.情感目标:通过听说活动让学生了解校园的设施和校园环境。
四、教学重点、难点
1)教学重点:①掌握本节课的重点词汇和句型;
②了解Miller学校的具体情况;学会用英语介绍自己的学校。
2)教学难点:①There is/are...的用法。
五、学情分析
这节课适用于七年级上册的学生。本节课是关于校园的,所以学生会很熟悉也会很感兴趣,从而能够提高他们的学习兴趣,学习起来也会比较容易。

七、教学过程(T=teacher S=student)
Step1:Greeting
T: It is time for class, stand up, please .
Ss: Good evening ,M rZhu.
T: Good evening boys and girls. Sit down ,please. OK. Look at the picture ,This is my school ,what can you see in the picture Is my school beautiful These are my college classmates, Can you see me Who can tell me (Ask students to answer.)
S1:I can see a library, a lake, a classroom building.. .
S2: Yes , It is beautiful.
S3:Yes I see Mr Zhu . ( by this way ,and then show these words on PPT.
Step 2: Presentation.
T:教师向学生展示一张操场的图片,并呈现单词playground 的图片和音标,让学生学习拼读单词,跟老师读单词,接着抽一排学生读这个单词;然后让学生齐读单词playground。接下来老师用同样的方式展示并教读单词classroom, library, classroom building, computer room ,school hall...
Step3: Matching ( 1a)
(Show all the pictures and the words on the blackboard to the students.)
T: Good .We have learnt all the new words in this class. Now can you match them with the pictures on the blackboard
Ss: Yes.
T: Good .Now please come to the blackboard to match them..
(Then ask some students to check the answers.)
Step4: Watching the video and answer the questions.
T: OK. All the class did a good job .now Let’s watch the video .after watching the video two times.给出四个问题让学生思考
1.How does Miller’s school look
2. What about the playground
3.How many classrooms are there in the school
4.Where is Miller’s classroom 然后抽学生把答案写在黑板上。(Then ask some students to check the answers.)
Step5:Read the article and do exercise( fill the blanks).

and two __________ rooms. The library is new and _____. The students often have meetings in the school _____. Mr Wu is Millie's ________ teacher.首先老师让学生齐读一遍文章,然后学生自己读一遍,当学生遇到不会读的时候老师给予帮助。接下来让学生做练习。做完后抽查学生,最后检查答案。
Step6: Group work
Write an article in groups.
Student 1 — Name of the school
Student 2 — Teachers
Student 3 —The way to go to school
Student 4 ,5,6 —School facilities(设施)
(classroom,library, playground…)
展示:各组派一名代表展示小组成果。
Step 7 Summary
1. Tell students what we have learnt in this class.
2. We have learnt how to describe our school.
Step8: Homework
1 Remember the new words in this class.

Step 9教学反思
本节课通过导入新单词和新句型。同时,通过听说训练培养学生学习兴趣,巩固所学知识。但在训练介绍学校过程中,有些同学不敢开口说,怕犯错误,今后让学生多说,养成良好的学习英语的习惯。
