学生阅读Grammar Focus中的句子,然后教师出题检查学生掌握情况。
设计意图:巩固目标语言,能初步运用名词性物主代词mine,yours,his,hers;能理解名词性物主代词和形容词性物主代词在用法上的区别。
Step 4 完成教材3a-3c的任务
Work on 3a.
1.T:Let's work on 3a.Look at the pictures in 3a.We can see the book and pencils are close to us,but the ruler and pens are a little far from us.When we ask about them,we must pay attention to the use of “this”“that”“these” and “those”.
2.Explanation:
(1)this/these “这;这个/这些”,用于指代在时间或空间上距离说话人较近的人或物。
(2)that/those “那;那个/那些”,用于指代在时间或空间上距离说话人较远的人或物。
设计意图:通过观察图片,组成对话并练习,从所提供的单词中捕捉可能的语境信息,达到语言输入的目的;在练习中区别名词性物主代词和形容词性物主代词;通过提示词yes和no,完成一般疑问句的肯否回答。
Work on 3b.
1.T:Read the questions and complete the answers.You should pay attention to “this”“that”“these” and “those”.
2.Ss read the questions and answer the questions with their partners.Then write down their answers in the blanks.
设计意图:通过把握对话所给的语境,联系上下文语境推测、判断应填写的内容;通过补充语句,练习书写的规范性。

Divide the Ss into five or six groups.Each group has six to eight students.All the students in a group put some of their school things into a box.

知识点拨
▲名词所有格
英语中除了用物主代词表示物品所属外,还可用名词所有格来表示。名词所有格常分为三类:
(1)单数名词和不以 s结尾的复数名词的所有格是在该名词的末尾加“'s”。如:Tom's,Mike's,children's,women's。
(2)以 s结尾的复数名词的所有格是在复数名词的末尾直接加“'”。如:teachers' books。
(3)无生命的名词的所有格一般使用of,意为“……的”。如:the key of the door,a photo of my family。
▲缩写对话时要注意this/that与单数名词连用,these/those与复数名词连用。如:
Is this/that your eraser?这个/那个是你的橡皮吗?
Are these/those your erasers?这些/那些是你们的橡皮吗?
