【操作案例】
Pre listening
1.T:Now,class begins.Please open your books and read the topic sentence of this unit:What color is it
Ss:What color is it
T:Good.Look at the picture.The eight letters have eight colors.What colors are they?Please match the letters with the colors.
2.The teacher writes the new words of the colors on the blackboard.Teach the new words.
T:Now look at these color cards.Can you say what color it is when I show it?(Show each color card to the Ss.Ss say the color.)
3.T:Let's chant.
Red,red,a red V. Yellow,yellow,a yellow S.
Green,green,a green Y. Blue,blue,a blue W.

While listening
Play the tape for the students to listen.Just listen and learn how to ask colors.Pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation.
T:This time,I play the tape,and please listen and repeat.When you say “that”,please use your fingers to point to “that”.(Ss repeat after the tape.)
Post listening
T:We can use the sentence patterns to make conversations.Please describe the letters and their colors in the picture of 1a.

1a-1c部分是本单元的热身教学活动。活动1a通过图文导入整个单元的语境、话题、8个表示颜色的单词以及询问和告知物品颜色的基本句型。活动1b以听力训练的形式呈现本单元核心句型。活动1c是控制性的口语活动,让学生模仿听力中的对话,进行简单的口语输出。
2a-2e部分的作用是字母教学。活动2a着重字母S至Z的发音,同时呈现这几个字母在字母表中的顺序。活动2b着重训练字母S至Z的顺序,同时巩固它们的发音。活动2c-2d着重训练字母S至Z的书写,其中2c让学生关注这些字母的写法,2d让学生记忆字母S至Z大小写字母的匹配。2e部分是向学生呈现字母构成的缩略词,要求学生了解其含义。
