II Teaching aims:
1.Knowledge aims:
(1)Master the main words: beef, chicken, noodles, vegetables,soup.
(2)Understand the expressions and use them to describe other food:
What would you like
I’d like some vegetables, please.
(3)Make a conversation fluently.
2.Ability aims:
Cultivate students’ oral English and performance ability.
3.Moral objects:
Students can have a healthy eating habits.
III Teaching key points and difficult points:
1.Students can listen, speak, read and write the main words.( beef,chicken, noodles,vegetables,soup.)
2.Students can understand, speak, listen, write and use the main structures simply. IV
Teaching aids:
some food, ppt, cards, video, chalks.
V Analysis of the contents in this class:
Unit 5《Dinner’s ready》 mainly talks about the food. This is the first lesson for this unit. The five main words are important and a little difficult. Main while, the key sentence structures are a little easier than the words. VI Analysis of students:
Students can eat the five food everyday. They are familiar with them. But they are not familiar with the situation. So teacher needs to use real ones to help them understand and master them. The contents are difficult for students. So how to design the activities to guide them master and practise their abilities is very important.

(1) Unit5 Dinner’s ready ( show the ppt and guide students to read the title.)
(2)Teacher shows pictures about restaurant and menu. Guide the students to learn sentence patterns
(3)Chicken PPT. shows a picture of chicken. Students guess it . Then teacher shows the food of chicken. Then stick and teaches the words . Teacher shows some students’ hand writings. Teacher shows ppt. guide to “I’d like some chicken.”
(teacher let students give play to describe. Then practise speaking.) (3)Beef PPT. shows a picture of beef. Students will say it . Teacher teaches it.
Then show the card of beef. Then stick it on the blackboard. Teacher shows the students’ hand writings. Teacher show ppt. guide to “I’d like some beef.”(teacher let students give play to describe. Then practise speaking.)
(4)Noodles
Teacher shows a bag of noodles. Let the students look them( students say it out in Chinese). Teacher shows the food of noodles. Then stick the card. Write the words together. Teacher shows the students’ hand writings. Teacher shows ppt. guide to “I’d like some chicken.”(teacher let students give play to describe. Then practise speaking.)
(5)Soup PPT. shows a picture of soup. Students will say it . Teacher teaches it. Then show the card of soup. Then stick and write. Teacher shows some students’ hand writings. Teacher shows ppt. guide to “I’d like some soup.”(teacher let students give play to describe. Then practise speaking.)
(6)Vegetables Teacher shows a plate of vegetables. Let the students look at them .
Teacher shows the card of vegetables. Then stick the card. Write the word together. Teacher shows the students’ hand writings. Teacher shows ppt. guide to “I’d like some vegetables.”(teacher let students give play to describe. Then practice speaking.)
Step3 Consolidation
(1)look ,guess and say ( show ppt to play a game to enhance the new words and expressions)
(2)Use the words to practise sentences.
(3)Make a dailogue.(one group ask,the other group answer.)
Step4 Play a game Pass a flower.when they hear “be quite”.stop and choose an egg to answer questions.

(1) Listen to Part A “Let’s learn” and read it.
(2) Practise your conversation with your partners. IX Note This is the first class in this unit. Students need to master the main words and the structures: What would you like I’d like some vegetables, please.
In this class, I used the real vegetables. Students are familiar with them and interested in them. So they can master them easier. They will remember them for a long time. Meanwhile, students master the main words very well. For the structure, it’s not very difficult for students. Many students can master and understand. For the students who weak in learning English, they need much more exercises to enhance.
