Good morning, distinguished judges and dear teachers! It is my great honor to attend this teaching skill competition on behalf of the school. Thank you for your confidence in me! Now I'm going to take a lecture on this lesson. I will explain the five aspects of teaching content,
Teaching target, teaching aims, teaching methods and teaching procedures.
First of all: The content of the teaching is the fourth unit of PEP 4th grade, Part B Let’s talk,
Second: teaching target The students are in G4.
Third: teaching aims
1.language knowledge:
A. Can listening, speaking, reading and writing the main sentences: Are they in/on/under/near the… Yes, they are. No, they aren’t. Can use the sentence patterns in the situation to find things.
B. Be able to understand the general idea of the conversation and read the dialogue in the correct pronunciation and intonation.
2.language skills: improve students' pronunciation and intonation by means of stress, tone and pause.
3.emotional aims : Guide students to kick the bad manners and bad habits,form the good manners and habits. We should often clean our bedroom and study.

Part1、Warm up and review
1.Do a review test listen and choose before class.
2.Sing a song (Where is Mr Monkey )
3.Play a game. (Review the words: bedroom, living room, table…)
4.Let’s chant.
Part2、Presentation:
This link is divided into three steps. Step1.Storytime Tell a story to students. The story is about a little boy Tony. Tony has many interesting things.(Review the words: fridge/table/bathroom...)John and his grandma had a good time. But his grandma can’t find the glasses. So grandma says: Where are my glasses Lead to the key sentence pattern: Where are my….Then Tony helps grandma to find her glasses. So he asks: Are they on the chair Lead to the key sentence patterns:Are they in/on/under/near the… -No, they aren’t.- Yes, they are.
Step2.Pair work.
Ask and answer with your partner. Practice the key sentence patterns:

1.Teacher shows the pictures of John and his Mum.
Teacher asks:Who's this boy
Ss answer:John.
then teacher asks: Who's this woman

2.John and his mother get back home. What’s wrong with John and his mother
Let’s watch the video and choose.
A. They can't find home.
B. They can't find the keys. John and his mother can’t find the keys. Where are they Let’s watch the video again and answer the two questions: Are they on the table Are they near the phone At last, teacher asks students :Where are the keys
Students answer: They’re in the door.
3.Show the pictures of the dialogue, let students listen and imitate. And pay attention to their pronunciation and intonation.
