教学目标: At the end of the class, the students will be able to: learn the expression of family members. learn inverted sentences. 3. learn the usages of singular verbs and plural verbs. 4. talk about your family members and to be familiar with your friends' family.
教学重点: 1.Key words : here, photo, of, next, picture, girl, dog... 2.Target Language: a photo of, in the first photo, these two girls, in my family. 3. Structures: a. Here are two nice photos of my family. b. My grandfather and grandmother are in the first photo. c. In the next picture are my brothers, Bob and Eric.
教学难点: Lead Ss to understand 2b and learn to describe family.

Step 1 Warming-up (PPT 4) Show a photo of a family and guide Ss to identify the members. Review these words and sentences. 展示图片,学生复习所学的介绍家人的词汇和句型。
Step 2 Pre-reading (PPT 5-7) Work on 2a. 1. Ask Ss to find the male and female first names in this unit and write them.Then check answers. 2. Make Ss find the first names and last names. 3. Pair work: Look at the picture, and make conversations with your partner. Here/there is/are... Who is/ are... She/he is... They are... 设计该部分是为了帮助学生回忆本单元出现的人物的名字,予以区分并对他们进行介绍,为下面2b的学习作铺垫。
Step 3 While-reading (PPT 8) 1. Ask Ss to listen to the tape and read the passage carefully. 2. Make Ss read about Jenny’s family and circle the names. 3. Check answers in class. 细读文章之后,将人名画出来。让学生带着问题阅读,提高他们的英语阅读能力,逐步培养阅读策略。
Step 4 Post-reading (PPT 9-12) Ask Ss to read the passage again and check the sentences true (T) or false(F). If false, how to correct Read and complete the sentences. Check answers. Read the sentences. 读完本篇文章,学生能够掌握文中信息, 并完成相应的任务。对阅读中学到的内容,进行练习巩固。
Step 5 Language points (PPT 13-19) Ask Ss to read the language points so that they can understand them deeply. Master the sentences: Here are..., photo, next... Practice them. 阅读这些重点内容,使学生加深对单词用法和结构的理解。
Step 6 Summary (PPT 20) After a discussion and tell the points. What's first name What's last name Give examples. Learn there-be/here-be sentence patterns and make sentences. 3. The inverted sentence patterns. 此处设计了讨论问题,总结本课时的重点。
Step 7 Exercises (PPT 21-25) Practice the language points by doing these exercises. 通过句型转换、完成句子和补全对话等形式练习所学的句型。
