设计说明
本节课以“和朋友见面”为话题,让学生学会打招呼和问候他人。根据学生的认知特点和心理特点,采用多样化和趣味性的学习活动,如:pair work,playing games等,使学生在轻松、愉快的学习氛围中结识新伙伴并学习初步的交际技能,以培养学生对英语的兴趣,激发学习热情。
教学目标
1. 知识目标:
(1)掌握问候他人的交际用语Hello!/Hi!/Good morning!及其答语。
(2)掌握8个常见人名。
(3)学会Aa-Hh 8个字母的读音和写法。
2. 能力目标:
(1)能根据不同时段,有礼貌地用英语问候他人。
(2)正确区分男名与女名。
3. 情感目标:
培养学生对英语的兴趣,激发他们的学习热情,让学生学会礼貌待人。
重点难点
1. 重点:
Hello!/Hi!/Good morning!及其答语;8个常见人名;8个字母的正确书写和读音。
2. 难点:
8个字母的正确书写;英文名字。
教学准备
教师准备:PPT、录音机和本课的录音带。
教学过程
Step 1 Leading in
1. Listen to a “Good morning!” song. Let the students learn to sing it.
2. Greetings and introduction.
T:Good morning,class!
:Good morning,Mr. Liu!
T:I’m your teacher and you are the class. (Introduce the words “teacher” and “class” by using gestures. )
T:Class, please stand up. /Class, please sit down. (By using actions and gestures. )
3. Use PPT to show a picture of a girl and give the name under the picture. Then teach the name “Alice”. Teach the other seven names in the same way. Finish 1a.
Answers:Boys’ names:Bob, Dale, Frank, Eric
Girls’ names:Alice, Helen, Cindy, Grace
4. Play a game “How many English names do you know ”. Ask the students to list all the English names that they know. Write the names on the exercise books. The winner who writes the most names can have a chance to choose an English name.
5. Practice in groups.
T:Choose a name for yourself in a group. Then practice saying “I’m...”
:I’m Alice.
:I’m Bob.
:...
Step 2 Presentation
1. Translate these words into English and then ask the students to read them in groups.

2. Listen to the tape about 1b. Play the tape again and ask the students to repeat the conversations.
3. Work in pairs.
(1)First give an example to the students.
A:Hello!/Hi...
B:Hello!/Hi...
A:Good morning!
B:Good morning!
(2)Ask the students to practice the conversations in pairs and greet their partners.
(3)Let’s talk.
a. 早晨见到老师,与他打招呼时,常说:Good morning!(早上好!)。
b. Hello!/Hi!均为感叹词,不受时间的限制,是较随意的问候语。
Step 3 Letter challenge
1. Show the letters very quickly and hold a competition between boys and girls. Ask them to read the letters they see.
2. First let the students say the letters Aa-Hh by themselves. Then listen and repeat the eight letters in 2a.
3. Ask two students to write the big letters and small letters(Aa-Hh)on the blackboard. And the other students just watch and correct.
4. Listen and number the letters they hear in 2b.

5. Look and copy the letters in 2c. (注意大小写、字母的占格及笔顺)
6. Write the small letters for the big letters or write and big letters for the small letters in 2d.

Step 4 Practice
Ask the students to read the letters in 2e and talk about their meanings.
Explain them if necessary.

CD:compact disc(You see this on a CD. )
BBC:British Broadcasting Corporation(You see this on the television. It shows which channel/station you are watching. )
Step 5 Sharing time
T:Please share your words.
