设计说明
本课时的语言功能是能够就物品的颜色进行问答。教材呈现了8个不同颜色的字母,以及询问和告知颜色的基本句型。通过听力训练和口语活动,让学生进行简单的口语输出。主要运用情景交际、教学法、猜谜活动和游戏的方式,从听、说、读、写四个方面训练学生的能力。在活动中,学生互相探讨、交流,从而获得知识、技能和情感体验。
教学目标
1. 知识目标:
(1)掌握单词:color,red,yellow,green,blue,black,white,purple,brown。
(2)掌握句型:—What color is it —It’s...。
(3)掌握Ss-Zz的正确读音及写法。
(4)掌握下列字母或字母组合的含义:S/M/L,UFO,CCTV。
2. 能力目标:
(1)学会用句型“What color is it ”进行听力和口语训练。
(2)能在四线三格里正确书写字母Ss-Zz。
3. 情感目标:
通过小组活动,培养学生与他人合作的精神。
重点难点
1. 重点:

(2)能熟练地在四线三格里正确书写Ss-Zz的大小写。
2. 难点:
引导学生仔细观察字母的大小写格式,避免汉语拼音对英语字母的干扰。

教师准备:PPT、字母卡片、录音带、录音机。
教学过程
Step 1 Revision and warming up
Review the things in English by showing the pictures. And ask and answer.
T:Good morning,class!

T:(point to a map)What’s this in English
:It’s a map.
The teacher reminds the students of a/an,this/that.
Step 2 Presentation
1. Use the color letter cards and present this dialogue:
—What’s this
—It’s A.
—What color is it
—It’s red/black/white...
2. Practice the new words. Translate the words into English.

绿色(的)green 蓝色(的)blue 黑色(的)black
白色(的)white  紫色(的)purple

3. Ask the students to read the dialogue together three times after the teacher.
Step 3 Listening
1. Students listen to the conversation in 1b and repeat.
2. Listen again and complete the conversation.
Girl 1:What’s this

Girl 1:What color is it
Boy:It’s red.
Girl 1:What’s that
Girl 2:It’s Z.
Girl 1:What color is it
Girl 2:It’s black.
Step 4 Practice
1. Read the names of the colors and let the students repeat them. Then ask the students to finish 1a.
2. Students practice the conversations in the picture in pairs.
3. Ask some pairs to act out their own conversations.
Language points:
(1)what color用来提问颜色。
你的夹克衫是什么颜色的?(翻译句子)
What color is your jacket
(2)回答“What color is+可数名词单数形式?”时用“It’s+颜色. ”。
回答“What color are+可数名词复数形式 ”时用“They’re+颜色. ”。
Step 5 Letter challenge
1. Show the letters very quickly and hold a competition between boys and girls. Ask them to read the letters they see.
2. First let the students say the letters Ss-Zz by themselves. Then listen and repeat the eight letters in 2a.
3. Ask two students to write the big letters and small letters(Ss-Zz)on the blackboard. And the other students just watch and correct.
4. Listen and number the letters they hear in 2b.

5. Look and copy the letters in 2c. (注意大小写、字母的占格及笔顺)
6. Write the small letters for the big letters or write the big letters for the small letters in 2d.

Step 6 Games
Show three or four big letters (from S to Z). Let students find the missing letters. Then show three or four small letters (from s to z). Let students find the missing letters. Students play the game in a group of four. Everyone should get the letter cards with eight big letters (S-Z) and eight small letters (s-z).

Step 7 Working on 2e
1. Ask the students to read the letters in 2e and talk about their meanings.

Ⅱ. 1. B 回答What color is... 时用“It’s+颜色. ”句型或直接用表示颜色的词。故选B。
2. D 26个英文字母中能单独成词的是A和I。
3. B 根据生活常识可知,医院里进行胸透时用的是X光。
4. B What color... 句型是对颜色进行提问,其答语用“It’s/They’re+表示颜色的词. ”或直接说出颜色。句意:“橘子是什么颜色的?”“它是橙色的”。故选B。
5. B rulers是可数名词复数形式,连系动词be应用are,答语中they作主语,谓语动词也用复数形式,故选B。
6. A 此时A表示字母,其前不能用冠词。
