教材分析:
本课选自湘鲁版四年级上册第五单元 Section A.本课的话题是食物,内容与实际生活紧密结合,要求学生通过这单元的学习,能够用英语表述常见的食物名称,能够熟练运用句型征求和表达用餐意愿等。学生们在三年级和四年级第四单元的英语课程中已学习了一些关于食物及水果方面的知识,能够用简单的英语句型表达自己的饮食意愿。本单元继续围绕食物展开话题活动。
教学目标:
1.知识目标:
(1)学生能够听懂、会说并认读词汇: vegetable(s), hungry, thirsty, tomato
(2) 学生能熟练掌握并灵活运用句型:
---Would you like…
---Yes, please. I’m hungry / thirsty.
No, thank you. I’m not hungry / thirsty.
(3)学生能表演所学对话,并在真实场景中运用所学语言进行交流和运用。
2.能力目标:
学生能够使用句型“Would you like… ”正确询问他们需要的食物或饮料。在对话交流中让学生养成用英语交流的习惯,培养良好的语音、语调。
3.情感目标:培养学生养成合理饮食的良好习惯。
教学重难点:
1. 教学重点:熟练掌握并灵活运用句型:

2.教学难点:准确运用所学单词及句型询问他人所需的饮料和食物,并能给出正确回答。
教学过程:

Step 2Pre-listening Show three food monsters.T:Boys and girls, today we’ll learn something about food. Look, what are they Ss: Monsters.T:Yes, they are food monsters. They can eat a lot. Today I would like to divide you into three teams.Green monster team, blue monster team, yellow monster team.. Let’s feed them with the food stickers. After class let’s find the best team.Activity 1: Ask and answer.初步学习句型“Would you like...”T: What would the monsters like We can ask them with “Would you like… ”Read after me and practice in pairs.Play a game “turntable game”扮演绿色小怪物学习并操练句型“Would you like… ”Yes, please./No, thank you.Activity 2: Look and say.Blue monster says “I’m thirsty”--Would you like some water --Yes, please. I’m thirsty. No, thank you. I’m not thirsty. 扮演蓝色小怪物并操练以上句型。Activity 3: Look, say and choose.Yellow monster says : I’d like some…Then choose “hungry”or “thirsty” 扮演黄色小怪物操练句型“I’d like some…”及“I’m hungry/thirsty.” 通过三个小怪物设计活动,过渡巧妙、自然、流畅,避免了单纯的词汇及句型训练造成的枯燥和局限性。 利用学生喜欢的小怪物创设情景导入新课,并依据小怪物设计三个活动,由浅入深,层层递进,由起初对句型的机械训练到学生的自由表达简单的个人观点和感受,,逐渐实现语言知识的内化,从而提升实际语言运用的能力。

Listen and circle the pictures with “Would you like...”Try to read.Task 2: What would Li Xiao like for lunch Listen and circle.Read it and answer the question.Task 3: Listen and repeat.1.Follow the tape and read it.2.Act out the dialogue. 针对不同层次的学生设计“读课文,表演课文,改编课文”的活动,让每一个孩子都能积极的参与到活动中来。 带着任务听,锻炼学生捕捉信息和处理信息的能力。在理解的基础上分层设计表演对话,提高学生参与学习的积极性,激发学生学习兴趣,让学生在表演的过程中得到锻炼,提高信心。
Step 4Post--listening PractiseWork in groups and make a dialogue.Situation 1:朋友来你家做客Situation 2: 客人去你的餐厅吃饭Choose one and make a dialogue, then act it out.Show it in groups. 学习生活化,既体现了以语言为载体和以真实情景交际为目的的英语教学的基本要求,又内化了所学知识,形成了学习策略,实现了知识的正迁移。Watch a video and tell them to keep healthy.Find the healthy food and make a smiling face on the blackboard. 情感教育做到实处,不光从视频中总结出来合理饮食,还结合本课重点句型选择健康食物。 创设两个生活化的交际情景供学生选择,并以小组为单位在创设的情景中积极参与到对话活动中来,不仅较好的掌握对话内容,也为学生提供了一个自我表演的空间,让他们在知识的海洋中自由发挥。
