Period 2 (Section A 2d-3c)
设计说明
本节课重点学习单数句变复数句。从语法方面来讲,指示代词和人称代词的单复数对部分学生来说是难点。有些学生习惯于从汉语到英语的思维,而不是直接用英语语言思维,所以他们会觉得难,并且容易出错。在教学过程中,要让学生多练习,把口头练习与书面练习相结合,让学生形成英语语言的思维模式。
教学目标
1. 知识目标:
(1)掌握单词:they,well,have,day,bye。
(2)掌握句型:
—Who’s he/she
—He’s/She’s...
—Who’re they
—They’re...

2. 能力目标:
(1)能够运用目标语言询问或介绍他人的家庭成员。
(2)正确理解并运用主谓一致和名词单复数。
3. 情感目标:
主动认识他人,建立和谐的人际关系。
重点难点
1. 重点:
掌握重点句型:—Who’s she/he —She/He is...
—Who are they —They are...
2. 难点:
以who开头的特殊疑问句及回答,确认人物关系和单复数变化。
教学准备
教具:课件、照片、图片。
教学过程
Step 1 Leading in
1. Ask the students to talk about their family members. They can use the photos or pictures of their families and talk like this:
My name is...This is my family. These are...Those are...and that’s...Who’s he/she He/She is...They love me and I love them.
2. Translate the words and a sentence into English. Then read them in groups.
他(她、它)们they 嗯;好吧well 经受;经历have
一天;一日;白天day 再见bye/goodbye
(表示祝愿)过得愉快!Have a good day!
Step 2 Role-play
1. Role-play the conversation in 2d. The teacher can ask them to do it in groups of six. They may take turns to role-play.
Note:Listen and repeat to the teacher or the tape if necessary.
2. Ask the students to understand some new language points and explain some of them if there are any questions.
(1)—Are those your parents?那是你们的父母吗?
—Yes,they are. 是的,他们是。
Are these/those... 是一般疑问句(句式),意为“这些/那些是……吗?”,其肯定回答用Yes,they are. ,否定回答用No,they aren’t. 。
Is this/that... 是Are these/those... 的单数形式,其肯定回答用Yes,it is. ,否定回答用No,it isn’t. 。
(2)Well,have a good day!好吧,祝你们玩得愉快!
Have a good day!是祝福用语,意为“过得愉快!”,其回答常用Thanks/Thank you. 。
Step 3 Pairwork
1. Show some photos of family members.
Then ask the students to practice in pairs after the model.
e. g.
A:Hi,who’s he
B:He’s my father.
A:Who’s she
B:She’s my sister.
A:Who are they
B:They are my grandparents.
2. Ask some pairs to act in class.
Step 4 Consolidation
1. Ask the students to complete the conversation in 3a and practice it with a partner.
Answers:is,Who’s,He’s,she,my,who’re,They’re
2. Ask the students to look at the picture in 3b and make as many sentences as possible with the words in the boxes.
Step 5 Grammar Focus
1. Ask the students to read and translate the sentences in Grammar Focus.
2. Summarize this part together.
(3)单复数变化:am/is→are
he/she/it→they
(4)缩写:that is→that’s who is→who’s  is→’s
they are→they’re who are→who’re  are→’re
Step 6 Summary
In this lesson,we have learned:

答案与解析:
Ⅰ. 1. C 介绍他人常用This is...,故选C。
2. D 对别人的祝愿应该表示感谢。
3. B 如果人称代词单独用于不带谓语的句子中作主语,习惯上用宾格,故选B。
4. B 问句的主语是those,所以与are连用,Are those... 的答语为No,they aren’t. 。

Step 7 Homework
1. Remember the new words and useful expressions.
