Step 1. Revision: introduce themselves
Step 2. Presentation
a. ask the pupils look at the cards, read the new words freely.
b. ask some try to read out.
c. read one by one.
Step 3 Practice
a. Play a game: teacher say Chinese meaning, students say the word, the fastest is
the winner, teacher gives him/her a stick.
b. Say words and sentences in group.
c. Look at the pictures , listen to the tape and read freely.
d. Say something about tall and short.
Homework:
1. Learn by heart the new words.
2. Say sentences.

Teaching steps:
Step 1 Revision
a. say or read out the toys they learnt yesterday.
b. look at the word cards read and say sentences with some of them.
Step 2 Presentation
a. Ask and answer in pairs.
b. Look at the pictures ask and answer in pairs like this:

c. practice new words and sentences in group.
Step 3 Practice
Let’s read and chant:
a. Listen to the tape recording
b. Read and chant in groups
c. Make sure the students can pronounce it correctly.
