Step1: Warm-up
1. Free talk
T: We have a new classroom. What’s in the classroom
Ss answer.
2. Show some pictures in PPT. Ss read the words together: crayon, pen, pencil…
3. Play a game: What’s in my hand
Step2: Presentation
1. T take out a new schoolbag.
T: I have a new schoolbag.
Repeat “schoolbag”. Ss read after the teacher: schoolbag, schoolbag, I have a new schoolbag.
2. T: What’s in the schoolbag Let’s see.
T take out a ruler, a pen, a pencil… and a Chinese book.
T: What’s this
Help Ss to answer: It’s a Chinese book.
Repeat: Chinese book, Chinese book, a Chinese book, six Chinese books, I have six Chinese books.
3. To teach the other words “English book, maths book, storybook” in the same way.
4. Ss look at the words carefully and say the words quickly.
5. Play the game: What’s missing
6. Ss look at the pictures and try to say the sentences:
