3. 能掌握并熟练用语法要点中的句型：
1) —How do you learn English —I learn by studying with a group.
2) —Do you learn English by reading aloud —Yes, I do. It helps my pronunciation.
3) —How can I read faster —You can read faster by reading word groups.
4) —How can I improve my pronunciation —One way is by listening to tapes.

一、课堂导入
1. 通过谈论图片复习旧课导入新课
— How do they study English
— They study English by asking the teacher for help
— How does she study English
— She studies English by reading the textbook
— How does he study English
— She studies English by listening to tapes
2. 归纳by和how的用法
1). by doing sth. 表示“通过做……”，强调借助某种手段或方法做某事。其后接名词或动名词。可以用来回答how引导的特殊疑问句。
— How do you learn English
— I learn English by watching
English movies.
2). “by＋时间点”意为“在……之前。”
I have to be in bed by 10 o’clock.十点钟之前我必须上床。
3). 表示位置，意为“在……旁边；靠近”。There is a tree by the river．
河旁边有一棵树。
4). by＋交通工具意为“乘/驾/坐……”。
I go home by bus．
我坐公共汽车回家。
