设计说明
本课时设计了从简单的句型练习到与实际相联系的几个任务活动,使学生能将课堂中所学习的内容自然地与现实生活相结合,帮助学生认识到学习英语的重要性。本课时主要练习学生的听说能力,任务设计也以听说为主,能够贴近学生生活,吸引他们的兴趣。同时进行语法的点拨与强化。
教学目标
1. 知识目标:
(1)掌握单词:where,table,bed,bookcase,sofa,chair,on,under。
(2)掌握句型:
—Where’s...
—It’s in/on/under...
—Where are...
—They’re on/in/under...
2. 能力目标:
(1)能使用where引导的特殊疑问句询问物品的位置。
(2)能使用方位介词on,in,under等描述物品所在的位置。
3. 情感目标:
(1)通过小组活动等一系列的课堂活动,培养学生的合作精神和观察能力。
(2)培养学生养成整齐摆放自己物品的良好生活习惯。

Step 1 Warming up
Play a game:Do as I say.
Let the students do the actions as the teacher says.
Teacher:Put your right hand on your head.
Put your pen in your partner’s pencil box.
Put your pen under your English book...
Step 2 Leading in
1. The teacher asks the students:
What can you see in our classroom
Help the students with the answers:I can see some desks,chairs,pictures,books,pens,pencils,pencil boxes,schoolbags...
2. The teacher shows a picture of a room and asks the students:
What can you see in the room
Help the students with the answers:I can see a table,a sofa,a bed,a bookcase...
3. Show all the new words on the screen. Let the students read and remember by themselves. Then write the following words:

Step 3 Consolidation
1. Point to the picture in 1a and ask,“What things in the picture can you name ”Ask the students to point to the items as they name them. They may work in pairs before reviewing the answers with the whole class. Ask the students to match the words with the objects in the picture by writing the letters of the objects on the lines next to the words.
2. Check the answers together.

3. Ask the students to find the things and their location after the model.

6. Work in groups.
(1)where用于询问某人或某物的位置,意为“在哪里”。句子结构为“Where+be+主语?”,be动词的形式要与后面的主语保持一致。在回答该句型时,用“主语+be+表示地点的介词短语. ”。
(2)they是人称代词主格,意为“他(她、它)们”,用来代替表示人或物的复数名词。
7. Task
Show a picture of Mary’s room. In group of four,describe where the things are in the room.

Let the students describe Mary’s room in pairs before the class.

3. C 问句的主语是your CDs,CDs为复数名词,故答语用代词they来代替。

5. B 问句为一般疑问句,句中的books是名词复数形式,由No可知此处应作否定回答,故答案选B。
