设计说明
本节课通过划分俱乐部活动教学和运用描述性形容词,激发学生的兴趣。创设的真实情景能让学生在情景中大量操练目标语言,最后通过报名参加学校运动俱乐部,使本节课得到拓展。让学生始终在“创设俱乐部——邀请参加俱乐部——报名参加俱乐部”的真实环境中进行听、说、读的训练。
教学目标
1. 知识目标:
(1)掌握单词:interesting,boring,fun,difficult,relaxing,watch,TV。
(2)掌握句型:—Let’s play computer games.
—That sounds interesting.
2. 能力目标:
学会使用描述性形容词interesting,boring,fun,difficult,relaxing等表达自己对某事物的看法。
3. 情感目标:
通过寻找共同爱好,加深了解,增进友谊。

教学过程
Step 1 Leading in
1. Ask the students to answer the questions:
Do you have a tennis ball/soccer ball/ping-pong ball/basketball/volleyball/baseball
2. Divide the students into different groups according to their answers. Different groups are different clubs. Then let students report the result like this:
Zhang Xiao has a basketball.
She is in a basketball club.
Step 2 Presentation
1. The teacher talks to a student in the basketball club:
Let’s play basketball.
Then help the student answer:That sounds good/interesting/relaxing/fun.
2. Let students work in pairs and talk about the ball sports with the drills:
A:Let’s play...
B:That sounds...
The teacher should move around the classroom and give support as needed.
3. Present and read the words in 1a. Then match the words with the pictures.

Step 3 Listening
1. Listen and check the description words you hear in 1a.

3. Remind the students to listen to what Paul says about each activity and write the word on the blank line in 1c next to each activity. Listen more times if necessary.

Students work in pairs and talk about the activities in 1c. Then find some pairs to show in class.
Note:The students can give their own opinions about the activities.

(1)play意为“参加(比赛或运动)”,后接表示棋类或球类的名词时,名词前不加冠词。

【拓展】当play后接表示乐器的名词,表示演奏某种乐器时,乐器名词前必须加the。

(2)interesting,relaxing和boring是由词根interest/relax/bore后加-ing构成的形容词(词性),用来描述或说明事物的性质或特征。
