【教学重点】
能够运用形容词描述某地的环境。

教学难点:能够听懂1c关于询问地点的听力材料.

【课堂导入】
Step 1 Revision
1)在游戏复习本册要出现的单词。
点击水果,大声地读出每个水果后面的单词
2)Free talk
T: What do you think of our school What qualities are important for this place
S:...(Think of some adjectives to describe it.)
T:What about our library What do you think of it What qualities are important for this place
S:...(Use the words: fascinating, convenient...

【课堂活动】
Step 2. Finish 1a individually. Then check the answers together.
Step 3 Group work (1b)
Make students understand the meaning of questions in 1b, and read them together. Finish 1b with his / her partner.
Step 4 Listening (1c-1d)
1.Creat a situation to learn words: I have a friend, and he is a sale person in a store. People call him a clerk. He doesn’t sell things but shows tourists around the shop. Sometimes he just stands at the corner of the shop. Do you want to know more about his story Let’s listen to the record.
2.1c Play the recording for the first time only to listen. Finish the sentences in 1c for the second time. Then check the answers.
3.1d Play the recording for the third time. Students read together follow the tape, then finish 1d and check the answers.
Step 5 Role play (1e)
Suppose boys are the clerk and girls are the tourists. Role play the conversations.
