学情分析 高二学生经过高一一年的训练已经了解一些阅读技巧但并没有真正掌握这些技巧，而本篇课文是他们熟悉的话题，学生们有兴趣阅读
三维教学目标 知识与技能 掌握一些有关工作的词汇如electrician, biochemist, volunteer, manager, scientist, chemist等。学习掌握下列结构句式：What sort of job would you like to do I want to do a job which helps other people,such as …I like to be…, because…
过程与方法 1) Learn some daily expressions concerning job2) Train students reading ability though fast reading and careful reading
情与感价态值度观 从故事的这位主人公，教会学生懂得什么样的工作才是有意义的，才是值得做的,帮助学生树立正确的人生观和价值观
重点 To develop the ability of understanding the main ideaLearn some useful expressions about job
难点 1) Lead students to talk in class activity2）Help students to sum up what kind of job is worth doing
