▲travel around the world周游世界
(1)travel此处用作不及物动词，意为“旅行；游历”。如：
I like traveling.我喜欢旅行。
(2)around此处为介词，意为“围绕”，around the world意为“在世界各地”，相当于all over the world或throughout the world。如：
The people around the world all love peace.全世界的人都爱好和平。
▲辨析travel，tour，journey与trip
(1)travel既可用作动词也可用作名词。用作名词时泛指一般意义上的旅行，是不可数名词，常指长时间、远距离的“旅行”，尤指出国旅行。如：
Her father is fond of travel.她的父亲喜欢旅行。
(2)tour既可用作动词也可用作名词，特指线路比较曲折，常表示“(周游各地的)参观，访问，(巡回)旅游，视察，购物，演出”等。如：
I will tour the world when I grow up.当我长大时，我要周游世界。
(3)journey指远距离的陆地旅行，并且不一定要返回到出发点(即单程)。如：
