知识点拨
▲baseball
baseball是一个合成词，意为“棒球”。由base＋ball构成，类似的还有：basketball，football，volleyball等。
“play＋球类名词”表示“打……球”。这个结构中，球类名词前不能加任何冠词。
▲watch
作名词，意为“手表”，复数形式为watches。
作动词，意为“观看；注视”，后接电视、比赛、节目等作宾语。
▲How do you spell it？你怎么拼写它？
本句相当于Spell it，please./Can you spell it？回答时，用大写字母，并带有连字符号。如：
—How do you spell “watch”？你怎样拼写“watch”？
—W A T C H.W A T C H。

本节课首先通过核心句型的引入，检查学生对词汇和句型的掌握，为学生打好听力基础。然后通过听力练习，检查学生是否能听懂目标词汇与基本句型；是否能用目标词汇回答问题；是否能够通过反复朗诵课文，用目标词汇和句型创编新的对话，达到比较理想的效果。
