Part 1 My understanding of this lesson
First, the analysis of teaching material. The part can be called a bridge that leads the students to learn more about sports. Sports is related to our health and daily life.
Second, teaching aims:
1. Knowledge aims:
(1) Know the names of sports
(2) Use the right language to talk about sports
2. Ability aims:
(1) Use own language to talk about sports freely.
(2) To improve the students’ ability of cooperation.
3. Emotional aims:
Have the Ss enjoy playing sports.
Third, important and difficult points of teaching
1. To pronounce the new words correctly
2. Know the names of sports
3. How to encourage the students to speak as much English as possible.
4. Use the right language to talk about sports

Part 2 The analysis about students
The students have known something about sports before. And most of the students have interest in them. So I think my students will take an active part in my activities in class. But my students may not describe sports correctly because of the lack of knowledge and they may have some difficulties. So I will try my best to encourage my students to express their ideas by themselves.

1. A short viedo:
The most exciting thing in this summer vocation must be the Rio Olympic Games.At first, let’s enjoy those exciting moments again. How many gold medals did we win in this year’s Olympic Games These players are our pride. Try to tell me what they are good at
2. Presentation:
(1) Ask and answer: What sport do you like
Everybody, What sport do you like Do you remember our new friends at Sunshine Middle School Who are they Of all the six Ss, who likes sports Simon likes sports and Amy is good at swimming. Yes. Now the Ss are talking about their favourite sports, open your book to P19 and finish Part A.
(2) Act and guess:Look at me, what sport am I doing (Swimming) ,So what do our classmates like doing?I want one of you to come to the front and do some actions, you guess what sport he/she is doing. Understand

Mini-task1 Presentation
1.As we know, Amy and Simon like sports very much. They are talking about their favourite sports. Listen to the tape and answer the questions.
2.Ok, let’s read the dialogue in roles. Girls, you will play the role of Amy. Boys, you will play the role of Simon. One, two, start(Then exchange)
3.It’s time to have an interview. Please interview your classmates about their favourite sports, Ok
4.So much for the interview, all of you did a good job. I think sports are good, but sometimes I feel tired and have no time. To me, walking is good, too.(write down ‘walking’on the Bb).I like walking in the park many times a week(write down ‘time’ on the Bb,teach the new words). What about the yellow dog, Eddie Do you think he likes walking, too Let’s watch the dialogue between Eddie and Hobo, then answer the following Qs: ( PPT)
Mini-task 2 Read with the tape.
1. Read the dialogue after me.
2. Read the dialogue again and again with your deskmate, try to remember and act it out. It is very easy for you, so you can add some words;
e.g: Hobo: Oh, my god!You are so lazy! Eddie: No, I like walking very much. Hobo: I don’t think so.

教学后记
本课教学重点为“体育与健康”,难点为最后的结论“Happiness comes from sports. Health comes from sports.”.
通过“讲解—思考—谈想法—讨论—得出结论”由易到难,逐步深入。通过学习让学生了解体育与健康方式相关知识,感受体育运动带来的乐趣。拓展现实空间,综合运用各种形式与技能表达自己的观点,总结出正确的生活方式。
本课教学设计是融“表现、设计、应用、欣赏、评述”为一体的教学活动。通过活动加强学生综合运用本学科知识的能力,使学生主动探究精神与创造精神得到发展。
学生以个人和集体合作方式参与课堂活动,使学生的个性和合作精神得到发展;通过多媒体课件的展示以及思考讨论、总结让学生获得成功体验,从而热爱生活。
