Teaching procedures 教学过程
Step 1 Warm up & Pre-task
1. Greeting
T: Hello, boys and girls.
S: Hello, Penny.
T: Nice to meet you.
S: Nice to meet you, too.
T: Can you tell me which animals do you like best
S:Cat…
T:Can you guess which animals does Penny like best
S:Dog.
T:Clever boy/girl !
T: Look, my dog is here, this is my puppy, Lighting. What do you think of my puppy
S: I think it’s nice/pretty/cute/cool … (Some positive feedback)
T: My puppy is missing. Can you help me find it Now, let’s finish three tasks one by one to find it.
【设计意图:开放性问题让学生初步感知新词puppy,同时帮助学生滚动复习形容词。针对学生回答的积极反馈,帮助其树立学习信心。】
Step 2 While-task
1. Task1: music room
(1) Sing a song
T: Do you like singing
S: Yes.
T: I like singing very much. let’s try to sing and do some actions together. OK
S: OK.
(播放歌曲一遍,老师带着学生用手势表示歌词内容,学生边唱边学做动作)
T: Do you like the song
S: Yes.
T: You are so happy in the music room. Because you can sing and dance in the music room . What else can you do in the music room
(2)Game show
看到puppy说:woof, woof
看到图片,说出图片的动作。
看到单词或句子,读出它们。
【设计意图:寓学于乐的游戏设计,将枯燥单词的复习变成了一次愉悦的体验,同时为学生实现语言交际项目活动做铺垫。】

(1)Choose and stick
Choose the right actions.

(2)Reading show
Have a PK with the other team.
Try to read the passage about polite star.
T: Let’s have a PK with The other team.
T: Good job. We can read books in the library we can also read books in the classroom. Let’s move on, Task 3.
3. Task3: classroom
T: Can you talk about things for classroom

(1) Spell show
T: Can you spell them Work in pairs and check the spelling of the words.
T: How many stars can you get
Three stars: I can spell all the words.
Two stars: I can spell most of the words.
One star: I can only spell few words.
Check the spelling. Choose one of the best students and stick on the blackboard.
T: I point, and then you read and spell the words quickly. Let’s see who’s fast.
(2) Help your friends.
