【教学目标】

情或状态的句型。
2.过程与方法：学生通过观察思考、小组讨论及练习讲评展开学习活动。
3.情感态度与价值观：让学生明白事物是在不断发展、变化的道理，培养学生积极向上的心态。
【教学重难点】
教学重点：复习巩固Section A 部分所学的生词和词组，达到熟练运用的目标。总结 used to 的不同句型。
教学难点：学习运用表达过去常常做的事情或状态的句型;掌握used to的用法。

【课堂导入】
Step1. Warming up and revision
1.Free talk
A．I used to sleep in class, but now I listen to the teachers carefully.
B．I used to eat a lot, but now I have learned to control my diet.
2. 情景导入
A. Everyone may have something to fear. What are you afraid of
B.I used to be afraid of snakes，what did you use to be terrified of？
3. Let some Ss tell something about the Candy Wang.
① Candy Wang’s background.
② The change of Candy Wang’s life
③ Candy Wang’s advice to young people who want to succeed.
【课堂活动】
Step 2. Grammar Focus.
1. Students read the sentences of Grammar Focus, then fill in the blanks.
2. According to memorize, Ss watch the screen and fill the blanks.
3. Finish them，you can open the book and check your answer.
Step 3. Grammar(详见PPT)
used to +V 用法
1）否定句 主语 + didn’t use to do sth.
2）一般疑问句 Did + 主语 + use + to do… 答语：Yes, sb did. / No, sb didn’t.
3）反意疑问句 主句，didn’t + 人称代词？
Step 4 Work on 4a:
1. Write sentences about the past using used to
2. According to the meaning, and other relevant information to determine the sentence tenses
3.The students try to write the correct sentences。
4.Finally, read through the sentence, and make a comprehensive understanding.
5. Check the answers with the Ss.
Step 5 Work on 4b:
1. Tell Ss to read the chart in 4a and try to write sentences about Emily with information.
2. Methods to guide：描述Emily五年前的情况，应用used to 句型，而描述现在的情况，应用一般现在时态。并将第一个信息写出一个例句。
Emily didn’t use to eat a lot of vegetables, but now she loves carrots and tomatoes.
Emily used to listen to pop music, but now she enjoys country music.
Emily used to watch scary movies, but now she hates them.
Emily didn’t use to read a lot of books, but now she reads at least six books a year.
3. Ss try to write sentences by themselves.
4.Finally, let some students write the correct sentences on the blackboard , and explain where the students have questions.
Step 6. Group Work
Work on 4c:
1.Let the students read the table of contents
2.According to their own situation first box in the relevant form
3.Asked a group of two or three other students, and the box in the relevant form.
4.Let the students in small groups, respectively, for the unit independent play, use English to ask each other what afraid of past and present
