【教学目标】
1. 语言知识目标:
1) 学习掌握下列词汇:fridge, low, somebody, translate, lock, earthquake, sudden, all of a sudden, biscuit, cookie, instrument
2)进行一步复习巩固学习Section A 部分所学的生词和词组。
3)进一步学习运用一般过去时态的被动语态。
4) 掌握主动语态变被动语态的方法,并通过不同方式的练习,来熟练运用。

培养想象力,善于观察事物。面对难题,用积极的态度去解决,发挥想象力,认识世界,改造世界。
【教学重难点】
1. 教学重点:
1) 学习生词fridge, low, somebody, translate, lock, earthquake, sudden, all of a sudden, biscuit, cookie, instrument
2) 复习巩固Section A 部分所学的生词和词组,达到熟练运用的目标。
2. 教学难点:
1) 一般过去时态的句子变为被动语态。
2) 综合运用所学的知识进行练习运用。

Step 1 Warming- up and revision

How was the tea invented
It is said that one day Shen Nong was boiling drinking water over an open fire. Some leaves fell into the water . It produced a nice smell. He tasted the water, it was quite delicious, and so the tea was invented.
2.Tell something about how tea was invented by accident.
One day Shen Nong was boiling drinking water over an open fire. Some leaves from a tea plant fell into the water and remained there for some time.
It produced a nice smell so he tasted the brown water. It was quite delicious and one of the world’s favorite drink was invented.
Tell something about Lu Yu and his Cha Jing.
Lu Yu “the saint of tea” mentioned Shen Nong in his book Cha Jing. The book describes how tea plants were grown and used to make tea. It also discusses where the finest tea leaves were produced and what kinds of water were used.
It is believed that tea was brought to Korea and Japan during 6th and 7th centuries. In England, tea didn’t appear until around 1660. The tea trade from China to Western countries took place in the 19th century.

一般过去时的被动语态的构成
1.表示过去某一具体时间发生的动作,且句子的主语是谓语动词动作的承受者
2.讲述发生在过去的动作,且不知道动作的执行者
一般过去时的被动语态由“was/ were +及物动词的过去分词”构成。
The mobile phone has greatly influenced people’s life since it was invented.
These books were written for children.
使用被动语态时的注意事项
(1)含双宾语的主动结构变被动结构时,不要忽略间接宾语前的介词。
We gave some flowers to Miss Gao on Teachers’ Day.
→ Some flowers were given to Miss Gao on Teachers’ Day.
(2)含有动词短语的主动结构变被动结构时,不要漏掉短语中的介词或副词。
We handed in our homework last Friday.
→ Our homework was handed in last Friday (by us).
(3)在含有使役动词make或感官动词(see, watch, notice, hear 等)的主动语态 的句子中,这些词后常跟省略to的动词不定式,但是改为被动语态时则要 把省去的to还原。
I saw him cross the road and enter the shop.
→ He was seen to cross the road and enter the shop (by me).
(4)含双宾语的主动结构变为被动结构时,既可将间接宾语转化为主语,也可将直接宾语转化为主语。若将间接宾语转化为主语,则保留直接宾语;若将直接宾语转化为主语,则保留间接宾语,且在被保留的间接宾语前加上介词to或for。
My mother gave me a pencil.
→ I was given a pencil by my mother.
→ A pencil was given to me by my mother.

Step 6 Language points
1.Did you know that tea, the most popular drink in the world (after water), was invented by accident 你知道茶,继水之后世界上最受欢迎的饮品是在一个偶然的机会被发明出来的吗??
the most popular“最受欢迎的”,多音节词的最高级形式,the+most+多音节词,常见的多音节词有delicious,expensive,beautiful,dangerous,famous,comfortable,wonderful等。
She sat in the most comfortable chair.?她坐了最舒适的椅子。
by accident“偶然地”,经常用于句尾。?
We met each other at the railway station by accident.?我们在火车站偶然相遇。
2. In England, tea didn’t appear until around 1660〖WW(〗…〖WW)〗在英国,茶直到1660年左右才出现……?
not...until...意为“直到……才……”。
I didn’t watch TV until I finished my homework.?我直到完成作业才看电视。
