Step 2 Grammar Focus
1.Ask different students to read the sentences. Write them on the blackboard.
2.Ask a student to the front to circle the words "should be".
3.Ask students to find the usage of the words "should be". And make some sentences with the phrase.

含有情态动词的被动语态的句式结构(1)
句式 结构
肯定句 主语+情态动词+ be +及物动词的过去分词( +by+宾语).
否定句 主语+情态动词+not + be +及物动词的过去分词( +by +宾语).
一般疑问句 情态动词+主语+ be +及物动词的过去分词(+by +宾语)?
特殊疑问句 特殊疑问词+情态动词+主语+be+及物动词的过去分词(+by +宾语)?

含有情态动词的主动句与被动句之间的转换
含有情态动词的主动句变为被动句时,有如下步骤:
(1)把主动句的宾语变为被动句的主语;
(2)主动句中的谓语变为“情态动词 + be + 及物动词的过去分词”;
(3)主动句的主语在被动句中变为by的宾语;
(4)其他成分不变。
主动句:We should plant trees in spring.
被动句:Trees should be planted in spring.

1.Learn new words and phrases:community,keep away from,give chance to do sth., make decisions.
2.Make students understand the meaning of questions in 4a,then finish it.
3.Make students add more content, and complete an English version of school rules.

1.I should not be told what to do!我不应该被要求做这做那!
what to do在该句中作宾语成分,属于宾语从句的简单句。当宾语从句与主句的主语一致时,常把宾语从句改为“疑问词+不定式”结构。
2.Teenagers are too young to make their own decisions.青少年年龄太小了而不能自己做决定。
too+ adj. / adv.+ to do这个句型是too...to的最基本的常用句型。意为“太……而不能……”。
The hat is too large to wear.这帽子太大,没法戴。
【拓展】too...to...与so...that...的转化:
(1)too...to...“太……而不能……”,后面直接跟动词原形。(2)so...that...“如此……以至于……”,后面跟否定从句。
3.Parents should give teenagers chances to make their own decisions.父母应该给孩子机会自己做决定。
chance名词,意为“机会;可能性”。
by chance“偶然地,意外地”;give a chance/chances“给(某人)一次机会;讲点道理吧”。
