1.list a poem,let the students read it aloud and feel the beauty of a poem. And feel the love of a mother.

【课堂活动】
Step 2 Reading (3a)
1.Point to the picture of 3a and ask students to describe it.
2.Ask a student to read the poem to the class.
3.Get the students to underline the sentences using the passive voice of modal verbs individually. As they are doing this, move around the classroom answering any questions students raise about the poem and offering language support as needed.
4.Have the students read the poem again and remind them to find the languages and try to understand them with the help of the other students or the dictionary. Then the whole class have a summary.
5.Discuss what the title means with your partner.
A mother always knows what is best for a child, even though the child may disagree with the mother.
Step 3 Questions to the poem.(3b)
Have the students read and try to answer the questions.
Step 4 Pair Work(3c)
1.Ask students to think about a time that he/she did something even though his/her mom or dad told him or her not to do it. Try to list as many topics as they can.
2.Ask each of the students to get one of their favorite topics.
3.Get students to answer the questions in 3c individually, to form the answers into a story. Then share their stories with their partners.
4.Invite some students to share stories with the classmates.

When I was a child, I liked playing in the water very much. But I was not allowed. Beside my grandma's house, there was a small pond. One day I played in the pond. Suddenly, I fell in the water, I struggled to free myself but failed. Fortunately I was sent to the hospital in time. If I had been delayed half an hour, I would have not been still alive.
