【教学内容分析】
本课是外研版七年级下第十一模块第一单元第一课时，本单元以身势语为话题向学生介绍一些国家人们常用的身势语，着重介绍了在不同国家初次见面和表达问候时的身势语，目的是通过这些使学生了解不同文化，增强国际意识，尊重他国文化，同时也使学生明白包括身势语在内的语言在国际交流中的重要性，内容充实，且功能性强。
【学情分析】
学生对本单元的中心话题会很感兴趣，握手等身体语言为学生所熟悉，所以便于开展听、说、读、写活动，激发学生的学习热情，积极参加小组活动。

会读并记住本课单词和短语: bow, kiss, shake hands, smile, British, German, Japanese, Russian, India,, nod, hug, Maori, touch, nose
语言技能目标
1. 能听懂并会读简单的不同国家的身势语。
2. 能听懂简单的介绍不同国家身势语的对话。
情感目标
通过身势语了解世界不同国家的风俗习惯
【教学重点和难点】
了解并能正确的说出不同国家的不同身势语。
【教学方法和手段】
利用交互式电子白板，让学生参与课堂教学环节，为教学重难点的突破奠定基础。
【教学过程】
Step1. Lead-in
1) Explain the title “Body language” （书写功能）
【设计意图】引课，老师示范让学生明白“body language”的意思。
2) Tell students the teaching aims.
设计意图】告诉学生本课所学的主要内容。
3) Look at the pictures and say body languages.（显露器，文字拖拽）
【设计意图】通过看图，让学生学会一些简单的身势语，为对话学习做铺垫。
4)Play a game
One student say body language, the other acts body language .
【设计意图】通过游戏，巩固刚才所学到身势语。
Step2. 1) Look at the blackboard and learn new words.
British, French, German, Japanese, Russian, Maori
【设计意图】学习六个国籍的单词，为活动二的听力做铺垫。
2) Listen and match the pictures with the nationality. （文字拖拽，书写功能）
【设计意图】通过听力，巩固图片上的身势语和表达国籍的单词。
3) Then work in pairs
Eg: A: Are they Russian
B: Yes, they are.
A: What are they doing
B: They’re shaking hands.
【设计意图】通过小组活动，巩固图片上的身势语和表达国籍的单词。
Step3. 1) listen and answer two questions （神奇墨水）
① Do Chinese people kiss when they meet visitors
② Do Maori people in New Zealand touch noses or hug each other when they meet
【设计意图】利用两个简单的问题，让学生感知这篇有关各国人初次见面身势语表达的对话。
2) Enjoy a play and read the conversion ,then complete the table （播放动画，文字拖拽）
【设计意图】通过观看动画，朗读课文及表格的填写，进一步让学生了解各国人初次见面身势语的表达。
3) Say a short passage about the table
People in different countries may use different body languages,……
【设计意图】巩固本课所学内容，提高学生的语言表达能力。
Step4. Homework
After school, use body language to communicate with your parents .
【设计意图】内化并提升本课所学内容，让学生学会用身势语和父母交流，表达对父母的爱和感谢。
