设计说明
在本节课的对话中,总体目标是让学生掌握话题功能。通过有效的热身活动复习所学词汇,并通过真实的情景学习新词汇,为下面的教学做好铺垫。通过积极有效的活动学习巩固目标语言,通过大量的听、说、读的训练,达到对目标语言的熟练运用。
教学目标
1. 知识目标:
(1)掌握单词及短语:birthday,dinner,week,food,sure,burger,vegetable,fruit,right,apple,then,egg,carrot,rice,chicken,so;think about,how about。
(2)掌握句型:She likes...
She doesn’t like...
—Does she like...
—Yes,she does. /No,she doesn’t.
They like...
They don’t like...
—Do they like...
—Yes,they do. /No,they don’t.
2. 能力目标:
能熟练地用英语表达自己或他人喜欢与不喜欢的食品。
3. 情感目标:
通过谈论美食,进一步引导学生在享受美味的同时要关注健康,同时培养学生的合作精神和跨文化学习的意识。

(1)含实义动词like的肯定句、否定句、一般疑问句及其答语。
(2)一般现在时中主谓一致的理解与运用。

教师准备:搜集关于更多食物的图片,制作表格。

教学过程
Step 1 Revision
Make a survey about the food you and your partners like and dislike.
Then report it after the model:
I like...I don’t like...My classmate...likes...He/She doesn’t like...
Step 2 Presentation
T:Now look at the screen. This Sunday is Jim’s birthday. He will have a birthday party. What will they eat on his birthday Please look at the pictures.
(Learn the new words:birthday,dinner,week,food,vegetable,fruit,apple,egg,carrot,rice,chicken...)
T:Translate the words and phrases into English. Read and remember them.

Step 3 Role-play
1. The teacher says that John’s birthday is coming. His friends are talking about the food for the birthday dinner. Read the dialogue and find out what John likes.
Answer:John likes hamburgers,salad,strawberries and apples.

3. Explain the language points.
(1)think about意为“思考;思索”,其中about为介词,其后可接名词、代词或动词-ing形式。
I’m thinking about going (go) to Beijing.
(2)How about... 意为:……怎么样?用于提出建议或请求,相当于:What about...

1. Underline the correct words in the brackets in 3a. Then check the answers. Finally let them read out the sentences in class aloud.

Step 5 Grammar Focus

在一般现在时的句子中:
(1)助动词do和does用于否定句、疑问句及其简略答语中。当主语为第一人称(I,we)、第二人称(you)及第三人称复数(they)时,用do;当主语为第三人称单数(he/she/it等)时用does。
注意:〖HTK〗在否定句中do,does通常与not缩写为don’t,doesn’t。
(2)助动词do和does后的谓语动词用原形。
(3)当主语为第三人称单数时,“喜欢”用likes,其他时候用like。
(4)可数名词可用复数形式表示类别;不可数名词没有复数形式。

1. Ask your classmates about the food they like and don’t like. Make a chart like that in 3c.
2. Give us a report.
e. g. Liu Li likes tomatoes,but Zhao Jun doesn’t like tomatoes. He likes potatoes. Liu Mei and Chen Yan like bananas,but Li Lei and Bill don’t like bananas. They like oranges...

2. C 这是含有实义动词like的一般疑问句。当主语是第三人称单数时用助动词does,后面的动词like用原形。肯定回答用“Yes,he does. ”,否定回答用“No,he doesn’t. ”。故选C。
3. C 句中的some既可以修饰可数名词复数,也可以修饰不可数名词。chicken作“鸡肉”讲时,是不可数名词;pear是可数名词,故选C。
4. C 句中的chicken是不可数名词,故后面的be动词用is;pears是可数名词的复数形式,故后面的be动词用are。
5. B come on“快点”;think about“考虑”;ask for“请求”;play with“与……玩耍”。根据句意可知选B。
