设计说明
通过运用实物或图片使学生掌握有关衣物名称的词汇,能够描述自己和他人的衣物;会用how much 来询问和谈论衣物的价格,培养学生听取关键数字、价格信息的能力;通过对话练习,掌握如何询问价格、谈论衣服、表达喜好。
教学目标
1. 知识目标:
(1)掌握单词:much,sock,T-shirt,shorts,sweater,trousers,shoe,skirt,dollar,big,small,short,long。
(2)掌握句型:—How much is... —It’s...
—How much are... —They’re...
2. 能力目标:
(1)能够使用how much引导的特殊疑问句询问物品的价格。
(2)能够谈论衣物的颜色和大小。
3. 情感目标:
通过学习具备熟练地运用所学语言来进行购物的能力,培养合作和竞争意识;树立正确的金钱观;学会合理消费。
重点难点
1. 重点:
(1)掌握一些表示服装、颜色、大小的词汇以及有关数字的表达。
(2)熟练运用数字正确表示价格。
(3)正确运用句型:—How much is... —It’s...
—How much are... —They’re...
2. 难点:
(1)how much 引导的特殊疑问句及其答语,以及句子中的主谓一致。
(2)指示代词this,that,these,those的正确运用。

教学过程
Step 1 Leading in
T:Hello,everyone!Do you like shopping
Ss:Yes,we do.
T:(Boys and girls,ladies and gentlemen,welcome to Miss Zhang’s Store. )Have a simple greeting.
Ask the models to show the clothes in the classroom. Then ask,“Do you like these clothes Do you want to buy them ” to introduce the new lesson.

1. Show the names of the clothes (New words:T-shirt,sock,trousers,shoe,shorts,sweater,skirt) with pictures.
2. Remember the words and then translate the following words.

鞋shoe 裙子skirt
(美)元dollar 大的;大号的big
小的;小号的small 短的;矮的short

Step 2 Presentation
1. Ask the students to match the words with the things in 1a. Then ask one student to give his/her answers to the class.

2. Listening practice. Ask the students to listen and circle the things they hear in the picture in 1a. Check the answers.

Teach the difference between yuan and dollar.
yuan (元)没有复数形式;dollar(美元)的复数形式是在词尾加“s”。

Step 3 Pair work
1. Ask the students to work in pairs and make conversations with the new sentence structures after the model. (They can use the things and prices in 1a. )
Model:

B:They’re 8 dollars.
2. Share their conversations.
Step 4 Listening
1. Read the words of colors and do some listening. Listen to the conversations and circle the things in 2b.

2. Listen again and fill in the price tags.
Answers:big purple hat ($5),brown sweater ($8),red shorts ($6),green T-shirt ($7),long blue and yellow socks ($2),black trousers ($9)
3. Pair work.
Ask the students to practice in pairs about the things and their prices in 2b.

4. Translate the following phrases.

Step 5 Group work
1. Look at the screen and role-play the conversation.

2. Divide boys and girls into two parts;ask and answer the prices of the clothes on the screen.
3. Let the students come to the platform and have a performance.
4. Work in groups.
(1)socks,shorts,trousers,shoes通常以复数形式出现。
(2)询问物品价格的常用句型为“How much... ”。询问表示单数意义的商品价格用“How much is... ”,回答用“It’s...”;询问表示复数意义的商品价格用“How much are... ”,回答用“They’re...”。

答案与解析:
Ⅰ. 1. A 问句主语为the skirt,表示单数概念,be动词用is,答语用“It’s...”。
2. B yuan没有复数形式,故A项错误;美元符号$和人民币符号¥应放在数字前面,故C、D两项错误,故选B。
3. A 根据答语句意“10美元”可知问句是在询问物品的价格,应用how much“多少钱”。
4. C 询问表示单数意义的商品价格,用“How much is... ”;询问表示复数意义的商品价格,用“How much are... ”。连系动词be的单复数形式由所提问的名词单复数形式决定,由trousers可知选C。
5. D 前句中的trousers是复数形式,be动词用are;后句中的mine是指“my trousers”,故be动词还是用are。
Ⅱ. 1. socks 成双成对的物品一般以复数形式出现。a pair of socks意为“一双短袜”。
2. are 主语socks是名词复数形式,be动词用复数形式are。
3. shoes 成双成对的物品一般以复数形式出现。如:shoes,socks,shorts,trousers等。
4. These 修饰可数名词复数形式T-shirts应用指示代词的复数形式。this的复数形式是these。
5. are these shorts表复数,故填are。
