设计说明
通过听力训练、对话讨论等活动,培养学生用所学语言知识谈论衣物和物品价格的能力,提高语言交际能力,围绕shopping这一话题,进行归纳总结,自编对话,进行表演,使学生在一定程度上形成自主学习、有效交际和用英语思考的能力。
教学目标
1. 知识目标:
(1)掌握单词:woman (women),need,look,pair,take。
(2)掌握句型:—Can I help you —Yes,please.
I need a sweater for school.
I’ll take it.
Here you are.
You’re welcome.
(3)会用How much is/are... 及其答语来谈论物品的价格。
2. 能力目标:
(1)以shopping为中心话题,正确使用下列常用表达Can I help you?/I’ll take it. /Here you are./Thank you. /You’re welcome. 进行交际。
(2)根据所提供的情境,能对不同类型及不同颜色的衣服的价格进行询问。
3. 情感目标:
通过真实情境,让学生在实践活动中体验成功,享受学习的乐趣;学会合理安排自己的生活;培养正确的消费观念。
重点难点
1. 重点:
(1)掌握询问物品价格的句型及其答语:—How much is... —It’s.../—How much are... —They’re...
(2)能够为他人提供帮助并对别人的帮助礼貌地做出应答。
2. 难点:
(1)指示代词this,that,these,those的恰当使用。
(2)how much 引导的问句和答语,以及句中的主谓一致。

教学过程
Step 1 Warming up
Show the students some pictures(a red skirt,a yellow sweater,black shoes,blue shorts),and ask them to chant like this:
What is this It’s a skirt. What color is it It’s red. It’s a red skirt.
What is that It’s a sweater. What color is it? It’s yellow. It’s a yellow sweater.
What are these They are shoes. What color are they They’re black. They’re black shoes.
What are those They are shorts. What color are they They’re blue. They’re blue shorts.
Step 2 Presentation
1. Let the students know how to buy something they need.
T:Hello,everybody. Would you like to go shopping
S:Yes,we’d like to.
T:OK. This class we will go shopping together.

Step 3 Role-play
1. Practice the conversation in 2e. Listen and repeat.
2. Read 2e and answer the questions.

(2)Two dollars for one pair and three dollars for two pairs.
3. Read 2e again and translate the sentences.
(1)Can I help you 你想买点儿什么?

(4)它看上去很漂亮。It looks nice.
(5)我买下了。I’ll take it.

4. Role-play the conversation.

Ask the students to practice the sentences like this:

6. Work in groups.
(1)Can I help you 是服务行业从业人员主动向顾客打招呼的常用语,在不同的场合有不同的译法。顾客如果有需要,可回答“Yes,please. ”,然后说出自己的要求,顾客如果不需要,可回答“No,thanks. ”。
拓展:类似的表达还有“What can I do for you ”“May I help you ”“Is there anything I can do for you ”。
(2)I need a sweater for school. 意为“我需要一件上学穿的毛衣”。need此处用作实义动词,意为“需要”,后面可以跟名词、代词或动词不定式作宾语,在句中有人称、数和时态的变化;need也可用作情态动词,后跟动词原形,常用于否定句或疑问句中。
(3)It looks (look) nice.
look此处用作连系动词,意为“看上去,看起来”,其后常跟形容词作表语。
拓展:look作不及物动词,后接宾语时,与介词at 连用。
(4)当你决定购买某种商品(单数)时,用“I’ll take it. ”,购买复数商品时用“I’ll take them.”。其中I’ll 是I will的缩写形式。will是助动词,意为“将要”。
(5)You’re welcome. 意为“不用谢;别客气”。
拓展:类似的表达还有“That’s OK. ”“That’s all right. ”“Not at all. ”。
Step 4 Grammar Focus
1. Ask the students to read the sentences in pairs. Pay more attention to “How much is... ”and “How much are... ”.
2. Let’s chant.

3 dollars,3 dollars,they’re 3 dollars.
Step 5 Writing
1. Make sentences in the chart with the words in 3a.
Ask the students to write 5 sentences at least.
Answers will vary.
2. Look at the pictures and write the questions and answers in 3b.
Answers:
1. It’s five dollars.
2. It’s ten dollars.
3. It’s six dollars.
4. How much are the socks
5. How much is the sweater
6. How much is the skirt
Step 6 Memory game
Student A,look at the pictures in 3b for a minute and then close your book. Student B,ask questions.

答案与解析:
Ⅰ. 1. D 由答语中的“Yes,please. ”可判断,问句句意为“你要买什么吗?”故选D。
2. D 在购买某商品时,常用“I’ll take it/them. ”表示“我买下了”。
3. A 由答语中的red可知,问句是在询问颜色,应用what color提问。
4. C 由a pair可知第一个空应用第三人称单数形式is,后半句主语为two books,故第二个空用are。
5. B 由问句句意“我可以用一下你的尺子吗?”及答语中的“OK. (行,可以)”可知,B项(给你)符合题意。
6. D need to do sth. 意为“需要做某事”,故选D。
7. D a pair of意为“一双(副、对)”;two pairs of意为“两双(副、对)”。
