◆Step 1 Leading in T:(Greet the class.) Hello,everyone! Good morning/afternoon! Ss:Good morning/afternoon,Mr./Ms.××. T:(Make a dialogue with students;ask his or her age and the date of birth.) T:When is your birthday S1:It’s on... 设计意图运用日常用语创设语境,利用询问年龄这一话题,导入本单元询问生日这个新话题。
◆Step 2 Presentation 1a 1.Present by showing the photo of a calendar. T:Look at the calendar.It’s January.(Point to the calendar and teach the new words.) It’s February.(和同学一起拼读) It’s March.It’s April.It’s May.It’s June.It’s July.It’s August.It’s September.It’s October.It’s November.It’s December. The teacher writes the words on the blackboard and teaches the class to read.

2.T:Now look at 1a.Listen to the tape and repeat the words in 1a. 3.Ask some students to read the months in class. ◆Step 3 Listening 1b 1.T:Look at the picture again.Read the dialogues in the picture. 2.T:Now underline the words of months in the dialogues. Ss underline the words in the picture and prepare for the listening. 3.T:Listen to the recording,please.Number the conversations [1—3]. 4.Check the answers.(见课件) ◆Step 4 Pair work 1c 1.T:Now please read the conversations in 1b.You may identify the people in the picture as you are reading.Ss read the conversations aloud.Then practice the conversations. 2.T:Now,talk about your birthday or others’ in pairs. 3.Ask some pairs to act it out in class. ◆Step 5 Listening 2a,2b & 2c Work on 2a 1.T:Please look at the box.What are the differences among them What are the same points among them 2.Discuss with students.Play the tape and ask Ss to repeat the numbers and pay attention to the pronunciations.
